Was the justice system in america really historically racist? Today guilty black defandants get harsher sentences on average than non-blacks because more of them are re-offenders. Wondering whether this statistical fact was also true in the past(idk), made me question the idea that courts a century ago handed harsh punitive punishements to black people because of racism. What do we know about racism in the legal system? Things like all white juries being biased, and unfair punishments being given to black people. The legal presumption in that justice is neutral and fair so the burden of proof of it not being that way seems to be on the people that make the claim.
Was and still is no thanks to conservatives defending systemic racism.
Justice system is exactly as racist as the juries are. And it probably shouldn’t be hard to guess how it was especially in the deep south.
>>18550879>Today guilty black defandants get harsher sentencesLol, no.
>>18550879Extremely classist and racist and all permutations of the two. It's so bad that historically poor whites are borderline like race of sorts in mono-White scenarios.>>18550890There were two judge who were caught collabing with the local private juvenile detention center to churn out harsher charges so they'd fill up more.
Seeing how blacks hate Whites and can’t get the murder rate under control, yeah I don’t think the justice system is racist enough.Until violent black males become an endangered species, the cops aren’t doing enough.
>>18551101Keeping licking those boots. Someday you'll get to wear them :^).
>>18550879death penalty had more to do with race than anything else and still does today
>>18550879Overall, no. The justice systems of the era had the usual constraints in terms of technology and evidence and got some cases wrong. However, they also struggled to deal with the sheer volume and intensity and relentlessness of black crime, which was always an extremely difficult challenge. The main cause of blacks getting embroiled in the justice system was black law-breaking. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge this fact up-front is being dishonest about the situation.
>>18551612Pattern recognition and fatigue were always there. I guess in 1950s, when black crime rates declined some, America naively decided to give them a second chance. We see the effects of that’s today

>>18550879>Was the justice system in america really historically racist? How else are you going to get free labor? Mass incarceration of the Medigans? Good luck. Same reason your people brought coolies and spics over here. It all goes back to the globalist white agenda.
>>18550879>Was the justice system in america really historically racist?today white people can shoot and murder a black person and say they did it because they were scared because the victim was black and the court is like yeah that's fair
>>18551129>there is only complete authoritarianism or nigger anarchyAt last I truly see…
>>18551101Pretty much, if you look into the cases like the blacks that got lynched in Duluth Minnesota or the incident that sparked the riots in Tulsa OK things stop looking so black and white and seem more like ethnic conflict rather than blacks always being angels like the baby boomers were brainwashed into believing
