>Life is cheap, life is plentiful in the Orient, as the philosophy of the Orient puts it...life is not importantPoeple killed by Orientals in the last decades in wars: almost 0 (a few Indians recently in a clash on the Chinese border)People killed by Americans and other westoid allies in the last decades in wars: millionsHow do you explain that?
During WW2, the Japanese did not view the enemy as human. They consumed many Chinese and Americans who had the misfortune of being taken prisoner. Such acts are justified within Buddhism.
>>18552316>People killed by Americans and other westoid allies in the last decades in wars: millionsThe majority of deaths in these wars are from native groups fighting each other. The West is obviously involved but it's bias for people to attribute all deaths to outside forces. People hear "a million died in the Iraq war" but for some reason think the USA just went in and killed a million people rather than realizing the extreme scale of violence from the groups already there.>Poeple killed by Orientals in the last decades in warsThey've done well to modernize and tone down violence, though there's probably a decent chance there could've been more issues if the USA didn't have a presence in the region. It also wasn't that long ago where the Great Leap Forward occurred with tens of millions of avoidable deaths which pretty much outscales anything the West has done after WW2. And it ignores how many lives have been saved by the West by supplying food, medicine, and infrastructure to places that needed it.
>>18552316He literally explains it: life is plentiful and cheap.Oriental countries back then were overpopulated, the average individuals didn't receive much social investment in the forms of public education, welfare and didn't achieve or contribute much to society and the economy aside from manual labour. You can see Japan and Korea becoming much more humanistic as their human resources become more scarce: birth rate plummet, society age, child raising cost rises, the average working adults contribute more in taxes, welfare and higher achievements, innovations
>>18552316>How do you explain that?Orientals don't run the current system, so they have no position to cause death at all.
>>18552349>And it ignores how many lives have been saved by the West by supplying food, medicine, and infrastructure to places that needed it.Thanks for the billions of indians and africans.Artificially increasing their populations beyond carrying capacity. India is supposed to have 400 million people, but the west destroyed them by supplying food, medicine and infrastructure.
>>18552349>People hear "a million died in the Iraq war" but for some reason think the USA just went in and killed a million people rather than realizing the extreme scale of violence from the groups already there.American revisionism is just sad.
>>18552349>And it ignores how many lives have been saved by the West by supplying food, medicine, and infrastructure to places that needed it.They bought the stuff lmao. Don't say supply like it was done out of charity. That's like saying China is generously providing solar panels to the world.
>>18552963Thanks for the non-contribution.>>18552969You don't think any of that stuff was ever given through charity?
>>18553045Most of it not really. States paid for it and people constantly exagerate the aid's sheer size whenever convenient.
>>18553049>States paid for itHow much of the money used to purchase it was given to them as free aid? Hundreds of billions of dollars have been given.
>>18553051Most of it is through their own budgets on top of other things like loans. The idea that everything was paid through aid is pretty silly. More so many drugs don't have cheap generics so poorer counties still pay full price for it.
>>18552316Because what he was actually saying is "I don't view Orientals as human". The view that the other is inhuman is deeply ingrained in Western culture, but the Westerner is forced to arrive at this conclusion by roundabout reasoning because if he said it outright, it would conflict with his Christian morality (which is Oriental in origin, loath as he is to admit it)
>>18552963>The West is obviously involved but it's bias for people to attribute all deaths to outside forces.how does that qualify as revisionism? the u.s. government is obviously at fault for starting the bloodshed in iraq with toppling saddam and committing a slew of war crimes, but a good deal of those deaths also came from a civil war between sunnis and shias who were obviously native to the region
>>18553069And backing the failing government that had no real legitimacy as an attempt to to maintain a presence. There's also the 10+ year presence and exploitation by the US military and US private sector.
