There is no evidence the uni started with only once expansion, in only one place, only one time. It could be just a local expansion, one of trillions. Humans are not capable of understanding the universe. Its like explaining taxation to your dog/cat. No one can yet understand what the double slip experiment actually means, and no one understands what a photon actually is. Photons exihibit some characteristics of particles, some of waves, but are neither. They may have many other properties humans are not aware of yet, or will never be aware of.
