The name of Jesus is actually Isa, but some will give you another name for a specific reason that will not be disclosed yet.

The earliest writings about Jesus were written between 20 and 80 years after His death. Every single one of them without exception calls him Iesous, there is no written document ever discovered before 100 AD that calls Jesus a name other than Iesous or an abbreviation of it like IU. The name Iesous is a Greek version of the Hebrew name Yeshu which is a shortened version of Yeshua or Yahoshua. Which is a name that means "Yah saves" as in YHWH which is the most recurring name in the Bible. YHWH is a censored name of God, and nobody knows what the full name is as YHWH was all they wrote. Many people believe it means either Yahweh or Yehowah (Jehovah). But Yahweh is the most common as God says to call Him, "I am that I am" which sounds similar to Yahweh in Hebrew. Hope this helps! Isa was a made up name 600 years later. Lol.

Iesous was changed to Iesus in Latin and later Jesus in English which is where the Name comes from. There is not even a single document from the time ofvJesus that calls Him anything other than "Iesous" exactly, or abbreviations of it like IU. Lol.
