Any books /his/ would recommend reading?
>>18555121Discourses on Livy by Machiavelli. Also his assorted letters with the highlight being him getting almost shanghaied into fucking a really ugly whore and only getting out by throwing up.
Correction: he actually did fuck her but threw up after he had a better look at her. >Even though I found her thighs flabby, her genitals greasy and her breath stinking a bit, my lust was so desperate that I went ahead and gave it to her anyway.Anyways the letters are quite the fun because he shittalks practically all italian polities while glazing all other european states on the account of those being actually (somewhat) unified, stable and not finding themselves in constant internal warfare that gets exploited by their rivals (in the case of Italy namely Spain, France and the HRE).

how is a book thread this bad?anyway read Pre-Industrial Societies: Anatomy of the Pre-Modern World. Also Hobsbawm's "Age of" Trilogy.

Been reading Jonathan Sumption's series on the Hundred Years War, just about finished the second volume. Would recommend for anyone interested in the subject, or late medieval wars in general since it spills over into a lot of its neighbors and quite a bit of it is about stupid legal bullshit and kings trying to find wacky schemes to raise money.>>18555206It's early in the morning and anyway most people on this board don't read books.
>>18555206>>18555218I chose a bad time to make this thread but it’s /his/ so it should still be here after I pass out
