These days I'm questioning everything. My whole life I was told the KKK was equal to Nazis. Just evil. But lately I've noticed a lot of the photos from the Civil Rights Movement were staged. The story of the aggressive 14 year old was also a lie...he was a physically scary presence for white women. His father had been in jail for sexual assault. There are photos of the government pointing guns at TEENAGERS forcing them to bring blacks into the schools. Then the obvious black violence statistics. It makes sense that a powerful vigilante group seeking to terrorize was created. Even a hugely famous filmmaker made a movie honoring them so they couldn't have been that unpopular.
I remember a statistic, where in the South in some places 25% of the young White male population used to be part of the Klan.
