How does one entirely cremate thousands of bodies in open pits while leaving no physical trace behind? Has this ever been accomplished before in history? What was their secret?

Burn pits would be kept burning indefinitely as the bodies were never-ending fuel. As the bodies crumbled to ashes, more bodies were piled on top.

There is no reason why over 4,000 bodies were not burned at Birkenau every day.
