East Asian Buddhists are the first to set foot in the Americas. How would they go about converting them? Which group of natives would be the hardest/easiest to convert or syncretise with?
There’s no incentive to convert anyone to Buddhism. Practitioners naturally gravitate towards it.
>>18578721East Coast Natives in the US and Canada would be the easiest, while Aztecs would be the hardest (their religion was the complete opposite of Buddhism in every way).
>>18578753The incentive is Siddhartha telling his followers to go out and teach the Dhamma to the world. Buddhism is one of the earliest proselytizing religions.Modern Buddhists are lazy fucks though, so they don't put much effort into proselytizing anymore.

>>18578766Animistic. I can see them easily finding common ground in Buddhism like how the Taoists and shamanists did across East and North Asia.
