Has a Christian ever refuted Soren Kierkegaard?
>>
>>18578722
I'm so retarded. I meant to say Friedrich Nietzsche. This thread is ruined.
>>
Søren was a Christian, Nietzsche on the other hand invented a New Morality that led him to become a "Superman"/"Overman", unfortunately his superpower was syphilis and either the disease or his ideas left him crazy.

Ye Nigsche was the basement dweller of his time, sitting in cheap apartments seething about Christianity and inventing dark sanic oc donut steel blond beasts. Kinda funny, because he was a sick shut-in, and as a philologist, invented schizo theories that got wrecked immediately.

he did NOT have syphilis
why do ChriSTAINS always lie?

Actually, OP, you inadvertently made a very interesting question, because Søren Kierkegaard's leap of faith goes against natural theology and the Thomistic formulation that the truth is the adequation of matter and the understanding. Being a strict follower of Kierkegaard is literally forbidden by the Roman Catholic Church, and in fact, fideism is one of the main reasons why the Protestant Reformation ended up happening in the first place.
So even though Evangelicals and Lutherans are free to follow Søren Kierkegaard's fideism and type of Christian existentialism, many other Christians (like Roman Catholics) are not allowed to take a "leap of faith", or to believe that the universe is absurd, because it would go against their Church's teachings.

Kierkegaard was also an incel. Fear and Trembling and Either/Or are both about how he felt resentful about a woman who rejected him, and how that drove him to believe that existence itself was absurd.
Funnily enough, Max Stirner has been said to be even more autistic in terms of the way he wrote than either Nietzsche or Kierkegaard, but somehow ended dying while married.

Kierkegaard gets a pass because he wasn't obsessed with Conan the barbarian.

>The end of his life was marked by both physical suffering and profound personal isolation
I'm not interested in that kind of fruit.
>>

Nietzche, on the other hand, was quite interested in all sorts of fruits
>The one thing he would not give up was fruit, which doctors suspected to be the cause of his digestive discomforts. The problem was not the type of food Nietzsche ate, but the sheer quantity of fruit he ate. In addition to buying fruit at local markets, the philosopher is known to have received baskets full of fruit from friends in other countries. After breakfasting on a steak, the philosopher sometimes consumed almost three kilos of fruit in a single day.
