some months ago out of curiosity i tried to pray like a muzzie, i took a shower and kneed myself on some kind of plastic fiber thing and started reciting a prayer in arabic that started with the shahada (proclamation of faith)i just recently discover that both taking a bath and reciting the shahada are the necessary things regarding conversion to islam. now back then i though that you needed witnesses to convert to islam, but aparently no.so basically, i am a muslim now? i have nothing against islam but i dont really consider myself one and i dont know to what degree that recitation was valid without the actual intent of becoming a muslim
