I saw a tweet once saying "making fun of a rape victim is funnier than making fun of Jeff Bezos" and it made me think. When people make fun of Jeff Bezos they don't go: "haha, he's rich and powerful, haha" because that would make no sense. They attack his facial features, baldness and other characteristics outside of his control, thereby reinforcing the notion that ugliness is bad. At best they'll go for his awkward social skills, which is also kinda mean and has the energy of picking on an autistic kid.But in any case, the only way you can be funny when mocking a person more powerful than yourself is by locating the ways in which they are inferior to you, and this always boils down to mocking physical appearance and reproducing problematic, eugenic beauty standards which hurt a prole more than they do a rich man. Mocking rich people for being bald doesn't hurt them, but will hurt your bald coworker.So, mocking a rape victim is more intellectually honest than mocking Jeff Bezos, because it gets to the core of what "humor" is actually about: it's reactionary, fascist and sociopathic at its core. This is also the number one reason why the left is so bad at making memes and why their humor often feels like right-wing humor but with a silencer.

People make fun of the ultra wealthy and super powerful by attacking their morals and questioning whether all their accomplishments brought them true happiness. For instance look at how Elon Musk was mocked much more for pretending to be an elite gamer revealing he 1. lacks morals and 2. isn't happy with his actual accomplishments. He is mocked far less for having hair implants: something which he might be insecure about but everyone has things they're insecure about. It's very female to attack people over perceived or faked insecurities (particularly beauty standards) And women are terrible at comedy.
