At no point before 70CE was the temple in Jerusalem the only Yahweh temple. There was always at least another temple. The last of the rival Temple was the Onias Temple in Egypt which was destroyed by the Romans in 73CE, 3 years after the Jerusalem Temple.

The idea of a single Temple worshipped by all jewry, that keeps being destroyed, and which jews desperately want to rebuild so they can finally sacrifice sheeps in there and whatnot is a complete lie. They can just build a new temple anywhere, as they always did before 70CE.

So what’s stopping them?

Nothing. We are inevitable :)

Losing their bawww story
Even if Al Aqsa was torn down they could never put the Temple back in service because the optics of blood from 10,000 slaughter lambs and 100 bulls running through the streets of Jerusalem would be terrible optics

Pamplona does that every year

pamplona slits the throats of 10,000 lambs and 100 bulls in a day? That temple was a fucking slaughterhouse with fresh and caked blood everywhere

That's your average actual slaughterhouse that absolutely noone gives a shit about.

>oh goody, the jews finally got their sacred Temple back

The Greeks and Romans did exactly the same thing.
