National Socialism > Fascism

The difference between Mussolini and modern China is that Mussolini was an opportunist who betrayed the wider labor movement to side with industrialists, and he didn't even really create a "corporatist" or national syndicalist system despite being in power for 20 years. China's current thing is a liberalization of Marxism-Leninism that happened because the current global bourgeoisie are unaccountable and can flee to different countries, while starving your own at the most meager reforms like higher taxes.

No one besides autistic communists on the internet hates fascism because of corporatism, they hate it because of world war 2, the genocides, and the opportunistic backstabbing of unions and anything related to labor

>The Fascist dislikes earthly happiness and disdains the comfortable life.
-- Mussolini, the Decalogue of Benito Mussolini (1940)

>Fascism denies the materialistic conception of happiness as a possibility, and abandons it to the economists of the mid-eighteenth century. This means that Fascism denies the equation: well-being = happiness, which sees in men mere animals, content when they can feed and fatten, thus reducing them to a vegetative existence pure and simple.

Nothing in fascism is against what China is doing or has done.
Lefties always project their ideology onto fascism. Fascism is more like a spirit, it’s about doing what’s best for the collective.
Pre-liberal communists used to have this same spirit then this weird puritanical rabbinical liberalism took hold and demanded everyone adhere to a strict regimen of ideas half that work and half that done leading to inevitable collapse.

>muh heckin atrocities
Not a single idea hasn’t been killed/died over.

Is this where you award yourself the right to nitpick and say “wel Mussolini didn’t do exactly this and China didn’t do exactly that therefore there is zero similarity”?
Both sought to find a harmony between social, economic, and religious strata, both sought to expand and enrich the people as a collective, both sought to defend and safeguard the people from foreign aggression and subversion.

These are specific goals which when taken together are the essence of fascism.
Sorry if you never learned what fascism actually is.

Holding it wrong. After crashing into the ground with the death of the Qing and the subsequent hyperwar, China developed within the last 30 years. As time wears on, it will develop a patina and decay. This is precisely what is happening to the US right now.
It's modernist delusion to imagine the march of time as a thing of monotonic progress. Even when the evidence of the cycle of decay and restoration is laid before your eyes, you can't see it. You have to boil it down into competing ideologies which are ultimately all hollow. It's precisely this delusion which has given birth to the irrational surprise that China has not remained a shithole forever. Viewing time as a linear struggle between vacuous word games because you're too stupid to grasp the hyper-granular relational and eternal flux of reality is not an argument, it's just intellectual narcissism.

After it has fully decayed, the a political entity on par with the US will return after a century or two. The ignorance of the linear historical model will continue to persist at that time, and contemporaries will be shocked that the North American landmass became a geopolitical power player once again.

>The difference between Mussolini and modern China is that Mussolini was an opportunist who betrayed the wider labor movement to side with industrialists
The modern Chinese political philosophy isn't any different. It's much less on the nose about it, sure, but the primacy of the industrialists over their labor is a steadfast feature of party politics, because it's in the party's best interests to do so. The industrialists are, by law, part of the party after all.

Nothing in fascism is against what China is doing or has done

Fascism is the literal opposite of Marxist-Leninist China, Fascism = far rightoid thugs take over the State with the support of industrialists, they are the violent arm of Capitalism when it feels threatened by Socialism becoming popular

In China corporations have no political power, they are subjected to the Party, China is a Marxist-Leninist state where they liberalized the consumer economy (to an extend, there are still Party cells inside corporations making sure that they adhere to Party principles), that's it. They are following their own version of the New Economic Policy

The only boards on here I use are /v/, /tv/, and /his/ lol. You can't argue without devolving into childish insults.
>China is following the leninist New Economic Policy, that's not ''corporatism''
In China, both labor and capital are absorbed into the State and reconciled. This is exactly what Mussolini wanted.
1. Labor and capital both have representation in the State in the form of committees and other various organizations.
2. Independent trade unions are banned, the official union system is expected to work with employers and the state rather than organize adversarial bargaining.
3. The government sets strategic priorities and steers investment through planning, subsidies, and regulation.
4. Major industries such as banking, energy, telecommunications, railways, and defense are dominated by state-owned enterprises.
Everything I just described was practiced in Italy and China. China obviously LARPs as communist, but everything about it is corporatist. Combine this with China's nationalism and autocracy, and it is extremely similar to fascism. I'm assuming you're a leftist, so the idea of your favorite AES state actually being de facto corporatist upsets you greatly. You will never be able to divorce yourself from your biases long enough to look at the arguments objectively. China's political economy in practice resembles a corporatist system regardless of its constitutional or ideological self-description. China's flag itself is corporatist as fuck, the stars represent the working class, the peasantry, the urban petite bourgeoisie, and the national bourgeoisie being subservient to the CCP or the State (the big star).

I think the CCP controls the state, and the state is subservient to the CCP. This might not seem like an important thing to stress but the fascist party in Italy was subservient to the state. It ended up becoming that way pretty early on.

Also I don't think this really gets at what made fascism unique. I think it was a very unusual and distinct early 20th century phenomenon. I don't think there's any fascist-type regime in the world today.

Yes. The economy is in the shitter, but foreign sentiment about China is like 4-5 years out of date. Right before COVID was the peak of China's boom and attitudes towards China were still stuck in the attitude that they just make buckets and bolts, which was no longer accurate. Now people have been thinking China is doing really well rather than a bunch of people going bust, afraid of losing their jobs, and cutting back on spending.

This is because, Fascism, is simply monarchy.
The dear leader is the king
The Party is his court of loyal followers seeking favour.
Inevitably, the title of Leader is passed down to the offspring of the Leader.
The Chinks are currently fighting internally over exactly who this gets to be right now. Eventually one faction will win and one will become the hereditary Leader.
This is the end state of all Socialism. The recreation of a monarchy.
In fact, this is really the true purpose of socialism. It's a tool to destabilise nations, so the existing establishment can be removed, and a new hereditary monarch installed.
Senior socialists are perfectly aware of this of course, which is why they purge all competitors the second they gain power.

I think it's about ideology. Italian fascism had a unique and distinct ideology, beliefs about why they were doing what they were doing, what it was all for, and what their ultimate goals were. It was not "let's just do class collaboration" or "have a single-party state." There have been a lot of single-party states.

China permanently surpassed America in video generation AI with Seedance 2.0 and Sam Altman had to shut down sora out of embarrassment.

>China is the second most populous country in the world and its economy still trails behind a country with less than a third of its population
Yes, and that's not a coincidence, because the larger your population, the more difficult it is to raise your gdp per capita.

There's not advantages to using AI to make art. For one thing you can't claim copyright ownership of AI generated works and for another thing in order to make AI generate the type of artwork you want requires a significant amount of prompt engineering which eliminates the point of using AI as a force multiplier to begin with since at that point you're better off just making it yourself. I understand AI has its uses in programming and task automation but art is not a good selling point for the technology. This is embarrassing and desperate

I remember when openAI unveiled sora in 2024, many people started saying China will never catch up to this, this is what America is capable of etc.
Then China came out with kling before sora even released. Then hunyuan and minimax. And then seedance. And then Sam Altman shut down sora. What happened?

Nobody has ever said this about AI even once anon. Take your meds

Kimi k3 has fable levels of coding but at 1/10 of the cost. It even costs less than gpt 5.6 sol while outperforming it. Finally it has no safeguards so it can actually do what you tell it to, which is why it was able to solve internet security bugs that fable refused.

Haha, I remember distinctly especially from the 1450 Taiwan cyber army. This was even the general public's attitude before deepseek r1 came out.

I think being anti-AI, being in denial of AI capabilities, or being in denial about China AI capabilities, should count as mental illness
You keep getting BTFO in this thread btw, doesn't it get tiring?
>>
>>18589996
Sorry my guy but China is objectively not an AI leader in most respects according to your own standards, no amount of gaslighting or spamming jpegs is going to change that

>seething about Chinese AI?
People who are used to China not having any technology are finding it very hard to adjust to a world where they are at the frontier in multiple areas. The changing world is literally hard on them to reason about.
>>
>>18590020
This guy is a legitimate schizophrenic and completely derailed another thread with Chinese AI and rockets for literally no reason. He claims to be an AI programmer too.

It's hard to argue about China when you're a seething aging millennial/gen X whose brain literally cannot catch up to the new reality where China is at par or ahead in numerous technology fields. Past some point people's brains crystallize and this is the best proof. Even though they won't realize it whenever they think about China they think about it like it's the 1990s and are shocked each time they are presented with a modern day fact.
>>
>>18590032

No you don't, if you did you'd have better things to do than derail threads on here and call people luddites. This is peak unemployed behavior

If I were a paid Chinese shill why wouldn't I talk about AI? Since it's one of the areas where China is utterly mogging the former developed world (EU, Japan)
>>
Being anti-AI isn't luddism, it's Technoskepticism, AI shills want you to think that not wanting chat bots to strip people of their agency is the same as wanting to live in a cave. Although I think it's funny that this rhetoric is coming from a Wumao of all people because Ned Ludd was more or less a socialist of his day
>>
>>18590058
>not wanting chat bots to strip people of their agency
Nobody wants this. This is a strawman argument.
