10 years ago it would have been completely unthinkable but here we are. Americans are actually acknowledging the contribution Hispanics have made to their country. 10 years agp, the mere idea that Spain contributed in any capacity to the discovery and settlement of the modern day United States would have get you outright mocked if not insulted. Even the fact that Spain helped to fight the British during the american war of independence was completely erased from the history books.But here's the thing : America is now longer a white majority country, they can no longer enforce their narrative as well as they used to.
