What's the most graceless form of Christianity that strips every bit of art and expression from the faith and turns it into a power point presentation? Bonus points for bland, generic architecture.

>faith is about my feelings!

Non-Institutional Church of Christ

About as much grace there as a community college algebra class.

Churches like this feel like a local DMV on purpose. They want you to think the Church is a public institution on par with a school or library because ultimately what American protestants worship isn't Jesus but rather bureaucracy and the state itself

JWism. Also unique in that it actively tries to kill and impoverish its members

How is this thread different from a /pol/ thread?
>>

Of all the threads in the catalog to call out for being /pol/shit you chose one that's just someone seething at protestant churches

This could easily be some corporate HR meeting. Burger Christianity is weird desu

You asked for the least grace. That means works based Christianity, not art. Art and architecture gives meaning to life, but I don’t view the Roman Catholic Church and their churches to be art. I view them as too hard to replicate, so when they are destroyed, they aren’t going to be able to build them back the same as they were.

Graceless means believing you have to go to church building, as hard as you can force your self and your family if you can even get your family to do that. And to believe the church building is everything. Roman Catholics are some of the most hard and meanest Christian out there that get angry and fight if you aren’t a Roman Catholic also to their family. To control them. That’s as far away from Grace as you can get.

But that isn’t to say that there aren’t other legalists out there even in America. After all, if Roman Catholics can come to America and even teamed up with Baptists against the Protestants that were threatening to kill them if they wouldn’t convert to Protestant, then it shows even Roman Catholics have a purpose that God gives them.

Actually, I see white elderly people in there. A corporate meeting would be a diverse group of black, mostly Mexicans, tattooed, non white skin, and likely eating out at a restaurant and drinking beers. Or in a corporate setting , more Indians and Asians the higher you go.
This looks more like a Sunday school class for seniors and adults, which is highly unlikely.
Most seniors will want to only come to the Sunday morning service which will have an altar and a podium for the pastor, and they would have hurting hips and joints and want to go home afterwards, and be wheelchaired out by their children performing charity. That’s what you should have seen when you looked at it. Not the stereotyping. Most Mexico and black churches have their own churches and it is going to be similar in that same respect. People seeking the tending of their own families for charity. Or seeking charity from the church.

Black church mogs white American church. Far more fun and spiritually engaging.

Literally the opposite lmao, American Protestants are by far the most conservate demographic in US society and they're always the ones chimping out about how the government making laws about not putting uranium and lead in baby formulas is actually communist oppression and federal overreach.
We'd be living in Somalia with no state to speak of if these loonies had their way.

If that’s what you believe then God bless. To each their own is what I always say. I love my white church. It’s about Sunday worship. It isn’t about who worshiped God better today. God said even if you worshiped all you could , and it wasn’t very much, then it was more than if it was incredibly talented through the same story of the woman who gave all the money she could, which wasn’t very much, as offering.

I wish I could disagree with this. The very fact that these churches have to scrutinize what form of music is acceptable to please God is so unbelievably sterile and corporate. I keep thinking back to King David dancing like a wild buffoon to trumpets when filled with the Spirit, and think "These fuckers don't get it".

>Instead of smoke, statues, and magic crackers?????
>HERETICS!!!!!!
This is why no one takes Catholicism seriously. Enjoy Hell.
