I personally dislike National Socialism, but I'm really fascinated with this Marxist mindset of bragging about all the times they took incredibly disproportionate losses when facing a hopelessly outnumbered opponent.

Went to war against 3 continent sized countries at the same time (US, USSR, British Empire) when they lacked the ability to defeat any of them in a 1v1 war.

The funny thing is that if they had just carried out the Holocaust within their own sphere of influence, pearl clutchers would get pissy over it but they wouldn't have gone to war over it. They had to fuck it all up by invading Poland and allying with the Japanese who were gearing up to attack the USA
>>

Why couldn’t the Red Army concentrate their forces? Low IQ?
>>

The British Empire did not lose. My post said Germany lacked the ability to defeat them in a 1v1 war, not that Britain necessarily had the ability to destroy Germany. Britain owned 1/4 of the world, and Germany had no way to invade the British Isles. Trying to fight them was bound to end in disaster.
>>
>>18593916
They did once they took strategic initiative and won the war

cope. They lost the air war, and would have been starved of resources on the continent. Yes the UK couldnt have beaten the Axis, but the Axis couldnt beat the UK.

Reddit is the other way. I'm not even saying the Nazis were super competent, but they certainly did not lose because they decided to build random stuff in 1945 when the war was already lost.

The British Empire went bankrupt after WW2 despite Germany focusing its effort on the USSR and also having to deal with the U.S. . Furthermore, also despite receiving more U:S. Aid post-WW2 they were overtaken by Western Germany despite Western Germany only having half the territory as 1939 Germany. Sure a German Operation Sea Lion would have been impossible, but Britain certainly could not win the war of attrition against the Axis powers. Germany had the rest of Europe to plunder, Britain could draw resources from its colonies too, but it was significantly less fruitless as they were seperated by an ocean and didn't have the manpower to fully force their colonies to serve British Interests without risking colonial uprisings and besides Canada none of their colonies were industrialised enough to compensate for the disparity in industrial power between Britain and Germany, especially because Britain had to focus much of their industry to shipbuilding just to survive.

No, you retard. The AXis only had theoretical numerical Superiority (which wasn't even that significant, only 600.000 more, all of whom came from Minor Axis nations and were barely help because their armies were WW1 standards). Even then, the Soviets archieved numerical Superiority in most of their battles and in those were they were outnumbered they still had far more tanks and planes (which is a greater advantage than just having more conscripts with rifles). The only exceptions were the Batttle of Uman and the 1st Battle of Kharkov
>>
>>18596671
Axis had numbers advantage in almost all of their battles in 1941-1942, it's pretty normal when you hold the strategic initiative

Let's just count all battles.
Battle of Białystok–Minsk: 750.000 Axis soldiers acainst 671.000 Soviet Soldiers, but the Soviets had over 2 times ad many tanks, 14.000 field guns and mortars and 6 aircrafts more than the Axis.
Battle of Brody: 750 Axis tanks against 3.500 Soviet tanks
Battle of Smolenks: 430.000 Germans and 1000 tanks against over a million Soviet Soldier in total (initial number was over 500.00 Soviets and peak was over 800000 Soviets).
Battle of Uman: Axis outnumbered
Battle of Kiev: 544.000 Germans against initially over 600.000 Soviet soldiers, the Red Army were reinforced there later with more men, but I couldn't find any numbers. Even then, Soviets outnumbered the Germans even at their weakest there.
Siege of Leningrad: 725.000 Axis to initally 930.000 Soviet Soldiers
Operation Silver Fox: No concrete numbers, but neither side had a significant advantage in manpower.
Battle of Roslaw, no numbers for the Germans, but the Soviets suffered 5 zimes as many casualties.
Operation Typhoon: Roughly equal numbers, but Soviets had an advantage in Tanks and planes.
Battle of Rostov: No numbers.
Battle of Vyazma–Bryansk: Germans had a slight superiority of numbers, but couldn't mobilise all their present forces for battle. But let's be lenient and count this as a battle where the Soviets outnumbered the Germans.
Battle of Bryansk: No numbers, but Soviets suffered over twice as many KIA's and 600.000 were captured by the Germans.
First battle of Kharkov: Germans outnumbered
Siege of Sevastapol: Germans outnumbered
Battles of Rzhev: Soviets outnumbered Germans 2 to 1.
Demyansk Pocket: Soviets outnumbered Germans 4 to 1.
2nd Battle of Kharkov: Soviets outnumbered Germans 2 to 1 in manpower, tanks and planes.
Operation Blue: Soviets outnumbered the Germans slightly in numbers and significantly in planes and artillery.
Battle of Voronezh: Soviets outnumbered the Germans
>>
>>18597182
Stalingrad: Soviets were outnumbered during the Axis offensive and gained an enormous numbers advantage in the Soviet counter Offensive.
Battle of Caucasus: Soviets were outnumbered in 1942 and outnumbered the Germans in 1943.
Operation Uranus: Soviets outnumbered the Germans
Operation Mars: Soviets outnumbered the Germans.
Operation Winter Storm: Societs were slightly outnumbered in manpower and aircraft, but had more artillery and tanks.
Operation Little Saturn: Societs outnumbered the Axis in most skirmishes, though total numbers present are unknown.

I have wasted too much time with this, should I continue?
>>

>>18597192
you just post numbers (often that can't be 100% confirmed since this war was very messy) but they don't mean anything in this context, Battle of Kiev wasn't a "battle" like the battle of Waterloo, those were enormous campaings, often lasting over a month or months, often waged over territories that are comparable to whole European countries
This is where Axis almost always achived numbers superiority in the main thrusts of attacks
It's true tho that Soviet tanks sucked big time and it wasn't until 1943 that they really become a threat

Because hitler was a dumbass for thinking he could take down 3 or 4 major superpowers in just a couple years
>>
>>18593916
America came and blew them away. Remember, they were winning against both Russia and UK. However once America came they fell apart. Hell, if I remember the only reason the USSR was still around was due to winter coming early or something. Russia basically threw bodies at the problem and even then only could cause America help supply them and help them with production. The only thing USSR did was be a meat shield.

France was bent over and railed so fast, it took them a second before they could get the white flag up, and the UK weren't able to much against them.

Mine you America took on mostly all of Japan while beat on the Nazi and being the driving force to taking them out, before finishing Japan

>Because hitler was a dumbass for thinking he could take down 3 or 4 major superpowers in just a couple years

No nation became a super power until they attained the atomic bomb.

You're thinking of traditional great powers which were Germany, Japan, Britain and France at the time.

The US did not become a great until after the war started. The Soviet Union did not become a great power until the war ended.
>>
>>18593916
Russia and Anglos had to become more Nazi-like to defeat them.
>>
>>18598768
You dumb nigger, Russia was viewed as and even refered to as a great power in documents already since the mid-1700.

As for USA they held 40% of the ENTIRE worlds industrial capability during the interwar period. No European city had anything that even remotely resembled the car-filled Manhattan in the 1920s.
The US even strongarmed Britain to forfeit her alliance with Japan during the interwar period because the US threatened with a naval arms race if Britain didnt.

Stop presenting shit you literally made up on a whim as if they were facts. Either you post stuff that you know or you dont post at all.
>>
>>18593923
Unironically this.

The generation of Russians who fought in WW2 had been living in warlike conditions all their life. They were born during WW1 and the Civil War, grew up during the forced collectivization and industrialization which was basically a war economy, and survived the Stalinist purges. They were the strong men created by hard times.

Germany’s “suffering” after Versailles looks like a picnic in comparison. They got fat and lazy in the interwar period, getting high on that Weimar degeneracy and weak lifestyle. They could beat civilizations like France who were even more decadent, but they simply couldn’t face hordes of hardened steppechads who had spent their entire life essentially at war.

All things run in cycles though. The strong men who defeated Germany brought about the mid century golden age. Russians who grew up during that period became decadent and weak, and 20 years later the USSR collapsed.

>As for USA they held 40% of the ENTIRE worlds industrial capability during the interwar period.

Irrelevant. Industrial capability output outside of military input. In 1939, the United States had the 17th largest Army in the world, behind Portugal.

Just because Russia goes through periods of self-inflicted destruction doesn’t mean they weren’t a great power. They were definitely the largest and most powerful Eurasian land power after the defeat of Napoleon in 1815.
>>
>>18598789
>loses to Japan in the Russo-Japan war*
Which sent a shockwave in Europe because no one expected it. Why? Because Russia was seen as a great power
>>
>>18598787
>*loses to Finland during the Winter Wars*
As a result of the purges.
Still doesnt change the fact that the Russian empire since the 1700 was regarded as a great power.
In fact everyone was shocked by the Red Arm performance in Finand, even the Russians expected the war to last less than a few days

Fought a modern war against the biggest industrial powers in the world, what did they expect?
>>
>>18598789
Post-Napoleon diplomacy grew to be defined by all the great powers becoming wary of Russia's vast potential and influence, especially post-1848 and the Crimean war
UK's fear in the Great Game
France's influence as protectors of Christians in the Middle East
And Austria's funny neutrality in the Crimean war, despite Russia suppressing the Hungarian revolt in 1848 for them. Austrians decided that "Austria will astonish the world by the depth of her ingratitude" because they didn't want to see a spherling of Russia (retain their great power status instead of being mogged into a puppet)
