So why doesn't God just make all humans perfectly sinless like he did for Mary, Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, the Madonna, Queen of all Creation?
>>
>>18598975
because then israel wouldn't have subordinate nations to kill
>>
>>18598975
Mary remained sinless by her own choice and sheer willpower, not because God made her sinless or forced her to be so.
Maybe you should try to be more like her.
>>
>>18599002
wrong, she was born without original sin, unless you want to want to say all babies do something immoral while being born except for her
>>
>>18598975
because it’s greater to learn from imperfections than to be perfect from the get go
>>
>>18599015
So God can sin and is imperfect?
>>
>>18599012
Wha
What about the rest of her family, was her mom sinless too?
>>
>>18599017
God is not subject to the laws of man also I’m not a christian
>>

Do Catholics unironically believe this? Lmao

The cult of Lilith.
>>
>>18599031
>God is not subject to the laws of man
so
>"it’s greater to learn from imperfections than to be perfect from the get go"
is subjective choice made by god then? god btfo

No

Catholics hate the bible because it has a passage where someone praises Mary and Jesus rebukes him and then explicitly mentions the importance of scripture.

jews believe we are all born without sin

shit my bad I'm not OP that was left over from my thread

what verse/passage?

Luke 11:27
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Luke 1:28.

καὶ εἰσελθὼν πρὸς αὐτὴν εἶπεν Χαῖρε, κεχαριτωμένη, ὁ Κύριος μετὰ σοῦ.

And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

κεχαριτωμένη is the perfect passive form (state of being) of Χαριτώ (I bestow grace)

The only other time a derivative of Χαριτώ is used in the New Testament is in Ephesians 1:6

εἰς ἐπαινον δόξης αὐτοῦ ἧς ἐχαρίτωσεν ἡμᾶς ἐν τῷ ἠγαπημένῳ

Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us in his beloved son.

ἐχαρίτωσεν is the aorist indicative active (completed action) of Χαριτώ

Of course, Ephesians 1:6 on its own doesn't give us much, which is why we need 5 and 7 to make it work.

5 Who hath predestinated us unto the adoption of children through Jesus Christ unto himself: according to the purpose of his will:

6 Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us in his beloved son.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace,

Catholics and most Protestants (Evangelicals being the exception) note Ephesians 1:5-7 uses χαριτόω (to grace/favor)—the same root as Luke 1:28's 'kecharitōmenē' for Mary. The passage describes believers in a state of grace through adoption as sons of God, paralleling how Mary was addressed as graced before the Incarnation was announced.

If she was already graced before even being told that she will be the mother of the Son, her sinlessness is already implied by the text.

who would he eternally torture if he did that?
>>
>>18600856
If Mary was divine and perfect she would have turned the water into wine instead of asking Jesus to do it. Jesus literally said anyone with faith could do it so she didn't even had enough faith to do miracles or drive out demons, something even his apostles could do, let alone be sinless and perfect.
>>

Checked.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.

Matthew 10:1

And having called his twelve disciples together, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of diseases, and all manner of infirmities.

You seem to be conflating divinity and miracleworking with being sinless since conception, which is not how the Immaculate Conception works.

It would not make sense within the Scriptures for Our Lady to do these things long before God gave the authority to the apostles to carry them out.

And speaking of Cana, it is her faith in her Son what compels her to ask Him to do something for the spouses and His obedience to her what gets the whole ball rolling.

John 2:5

His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye.
>>
jews are behind it, they want to assert that the mother of Jesus is the source of divinity, and by extension all jews are the embodiment of divinity. The sad thing is that they will probably be successful because they've subverted the leadership and the flock don't know the source material well enough to see through their schemes.

Catholics are retards
Maria was fully human, and her sinlessness was through her willpower and love for God, not some divinity on her part
>>
>>18598975
God needs to spend a lot of resources to make immaculates, please understand. That’s why we’ve went almost two thousand years without new holy scriptures.
>>
>>18598975
Isn't this just a pagan tradition that got absorbed into Catholic religion? Kind of like christmas or halloween

The truth is, Christianity loses all of its purpose after you realize how unsolvable problem of evil, problem of Hell, and problem of Heaven are for it. If God can create Heaven, a world without any sin, pain, sadness, or suffering, he could have done it. He could just delete every single wicked person from existence without any suffering, and they wouldn't even notice it, and he could create Heaven this exact moment with all the faithful. This way, he'd circumvent all the needless suffering that have been caused during millions of years of evolution. Better yet, as an omniscient being he could have created Heaven from the beginning. As Christianity teaches now, God is a moral monster, who creates beings just for the sake of sending them to Hell to be consciously tormented for an eternity. He has no need to cocktease humans with the material world and its sheer complexity. He has no need for evolution to have lead to humans during millions of years of evolution, while letting animals needlessly suffer. He has no need to make his existence debatable in the first place. He has no need to create sin as a concept and he has no need to punish people for sinning. He has no need to create souls knowing he's going to torture them endlessly, often for the sole sin of being born unbaptized if one accepts the idea of original sin. It's more merciful and loving to not let the wicked even be born, than to let them be born just to torture them endlessly. The only reason he'd do all this, is nothing but sheer cruelty.

Moreover, the belief in Mary being someone especially sinless and her having immaculate conception in all-honesty are beliefs wholly invented a long time after the first Christians. Mary wasn't important at all in early Christianity, and her worship only grew in years after her death. Immaculate Conception is also wholly born from a supposed theological problem that was introduced when the Original Sin became a focal point in Christian faith.

Thanks for your post. Do you believe in a God of some kind?
>>
>>18601196
Nope, a new age is coming. A new new sky and a new earth God will make. Everything will be 7x greater and evil and suffering will not exist. Happiness will be 7x happier, joy will be 7x more joyful, pleasure will be 7x more pleasurable and everything will be 7x greater.

In this awesome new world only the righteous and the holy, the poor and the suffering will be allowed to enter, they will all inherit a lot in this world that they will get to keep forever and ever.

New indestructible and incorruptible bodies will be given to us 7x greater than our human bodies. We will be a new species, the special sons of God. We will shine like stars and will run like cheetas and fly like eagles and we will make our nests high up in the holy mountains.

All that is pleasurable and desirable, including those amazing things that we don't even know about yet that God has kept secret until that day will be available for us in abundance.

We will never be hungry but we will have an abundance of every food fruit to eat. Literal rivers of wine and honey and milk will be given to us.

And holy and innocent Angels will worship us and serve us will joy and gladness of heart and do everything we ask them.

We will be pure of heart and all our desires will be upright and not a shred of malice will ever be found in us.

And there will be no night or day, weeks or months or years but a single continues neverending day in which God himself will be our light and will shine for us for all eternity. And we will delight in worshipping him and it will give us great joy and rejoicing in our hearts to do so way greater than a million concurrent orgasms.

Jesus says that even thoughts can be sinful. So you mean to tell me that Mary never had a single sinful thought in her entire life? Mary was sinful, like any other human. Only Jesus was sinless.
>>
>>18601487
A thought has stages, it starts with a small idea or urge; saints kill sinful thoughts right here
Sinners let the thought take root, grow into imaginings, into sinful words, and finally into sinful action
If you understand the mechanics of sin, it is very possible to stop all sinful thoughts at their root and trivial to stop them before action
In the case of the Theotokos, it means she never yielded to sinful thoughts and stayed true to God from the moment she had moral agency to her death
Modern degenerates struggle to imagine how this is possible, but that is because they were never given a spiritual education and their culture is designed to make them believe sin is not real and is actually what everyone wants and normal
>>
>>18601496
>If you understand the mechanics of sin, it is very possible to stop all sinful thoughts at their root and trivial to stop them before action
So Mary had this perfect understanding and wisdom when she was an immature child and would have started having sinful thoughts? Get real.

Spain inaugurated the Sagrada Familia monstrosity and now the country is on fire. They won the satanic World Cup gold idol and America stole 30% in taxes.
>>
>>18598975
Mary was a sinner. She needed Jesus to be saved just like you and me. The fact that Catholics worship a demon called "Mary" doesn't change that reality, it just condemns them.
>>
>>18601792
Says the guys with 66 books in their bible. Add another 6 for the flawed humans who worship that false idol they call the word of God, and you get the aberration.
>>
>>18598975
Unclear. But then again Catholics don't really think things through before they make them into dogma.
>>18599002
Isn't this a confirmation of pelagianism, though? That cannot be the stated reason.

It's so funny that neither of you seem to realize that confessional Protestants also agree on original sin.
>>
>>18603312
How did anything we said contradict that?
>>
>>18598975
Because that would be a pretty lame story to end before it even began. You get to play the role in that story, it's your choice.
>>
In case you havent noticed, God is kinda like a narcissistic fat kid playing the sims. He gets to decide the rules even if they make no sense and he is an utter prick
