Dividing Western Civilization into "Germanic" and "Latin" is completely artificial (and treating "Latin Europe" and Latin America as one thing). As if Southern France is closer to Andalusia or Central/Southern Italy, let alone Latin America, than to Northern France or England. Apart from that, it is good.

But the map doesn't show any mixed regions at all, so they've put down that it's more Islamic than Orthodox. At least they have the temerity to show some regions as being without civilization (the rust colored regions). Most historians or political experts wouldn't ever want to do that.
