are there any monarchies with an actually "native" royal family? even around WW2?>englandgermans>spainfrench>swedenfrench>denmarkgerman>norwaygermanbelgium and the netherlands have their own dynasties, right? as in, dynasties with their "origin" in the lands they currently rule?
If one flatly dismisses non-white nations as "not true monarchies," (non-Christian) then they do not qualify. Otherwise, examples would include sultanates, Thailand, and Japan.
>>18602611>even around WW2?China if you consider manchus go be native to ChinaTibet if you consider elective groomer monarchy to be monarchy The Zulu and eSwatini if you consider British protectorates to be monarchies plenty of Indian princely statek, again with the caviat of being subordinate to the British crowdI'm pretty sure that unlike Nepal, Bhutan's monarchy is native to the country
>Japanchinese ancestry
>>18602611>belgium and the netherlands have their own dynasties, right? No, they're also German. The house of Nassau originates from the eponymous village in the Rhineland, and the Belgian royal family is a branch of the house of Wettin from Saxony.
>>18602613I did not dismiss them, I asked a question about them. I am genuinely curious about which (if any) governments around the world have a royal family from the core land the crown rules rather than a foreign noble family.
>>18602617Koreans arent chinese
>>18602611All of these monarchies are fucking useless anyways.
>>18602611Belgium are Germans too. Or maybe English, their first king was taken from England's royal family of the time, which is of German origin, and Leopold I was living in England when he took the throne. (Similar story with Norway grabbing a Danish prince.)Even the Dutch dynasty originated from Nassau in Germany, but they held significant Dutch lands at the time of the independence war and were basically local even then, let alone 200+ years later when they took the throne.Japan's dynasty is native, and I believe most outside Europe are likewise, Europe's insistence on monogamy and intermarriage between princes from different nations led to a lot of foreign inheritances.
>>18602611>monarchiesthe spirit is of the father, not of the son, and so therefore monarchies are satanic
>>18602670>monarchies are satanicNew Muttistani freestyle interpretation of christcuckery just dropped.
>>18602611I guess Thai is pretty native. Italy depends on whether you consider Savoy Italian and they had breaks of course. I am sure some other Asian or African wildlings have kept their own chieftain-kings for a long while now.
>>18602934how is it not your own fault that you don't know the first thing about anything?
>>18602978The thai royal family is like half genetically chinese at this point. Seems like everyone who belongs to the elite classes in Southeast Asia has some chinese blood.
don't pretty much all of them have lineages that predate their country's modern form? it doesn't really make sense to judge them as native to a modern nationstate. are they native to their land, their continent? german monarchs in scandinavia obviously are
