Ancient Rome donned their streets with statues of naked men. Carving penises out of stone was a popular technique for the Ancient Roman artist. Statues of grown men without any clothes on were a regular sight for the people of Ancient Rome, to be seen by all, the young and old alike. Should western civilization RETVRN to this practice? Should we start putting statues of nude men all over our streets?

You're not going to get a raging boner looking at them, but they make your heart flutter, cause your pupils to dilate, cause something inside you to tingle. The Greeks had the same attitude to young male beauty as they did to female beauty. You're coming at this with an Abrahamic presupposition that there's something inherently shameful about sexual desire. Callimachus even describes the gods as being sexually alluring when he's writing holy prayers to them.
