I'm not someone who watches a lot of anime, but I found this series quite interesting in terms of what medieval astronomy was like, and I thought the setting was pretty intriguing—especially because of how “irrelevant” everything feels in the grand scheme of things. How faithful is it to what medieval Europe was really like?
It’s absolute bogus and wholly misrepresents both the milieu of natural science and that of ecclesiastical authority.
Im sure its silly and an exaggeration. But the show would've been infinitely better if it had been about Badeni and Rafal.
>>18614386From a /his/ perspective it isn't noteworthy. The faux medieval setting doesn't differ much from that of the average Isekai or other Shounenslop. As a show it is pretty good, but I didn't like that the protags changed every 10 episodes or so.
>>18614386Not an representation of European history at all. It's essentially the reddit version of Vinland Saga.
>>18614741Why not gunpower era?
Sounds retarded, and fits the pattern of being a typically hostile Japanese charicatiure of Christianity.
