Do you think the desire for love/romance/sex etc. causes, on net, more suffering or more happiness? Is it more often satisfied or is it more often frustrated? And is its frustration more painful than its satisfaction is joyful? One may ask these questions regarding the universe or the life of one person.

Carnal sex is never satisfied. Always hungering for more. Needing more and never endingly. One wishes to go to the place the Bible talks about within it, the place where the worm dieth not, where King Solomon could have never ending sex with any woman he wanted, and even he wanted more than what he could amass during his lifetime. He mostly spent it with one woman at a time because he was excellent at treating women right.
Spiritual love is different in that it is completely fulfilling and satisfied.
Man and woman can both experience both sides of this. But the flesh always stops the spirit. And the spirit always stops the flesh. It can’t be both, because the two are incapable of being the same as each other.
However, a husband and wife can agree to consent to trying carnal things for a finite time as long as they set those limits and agreeing that it’s only for each other and they aren’t interested in it growing beyond their privacy of their bedroom or their marriage.
That’s why it’s fun to get married. You can try all kinds of stuff with each other and then when the carnal stuff is over not judge each other because you are spiritually satisfied with your beloved.

Christians on /his/ are literally no different from Mormons.
Omnipresent, obnoxious, pretending like their worldview is a given to people who did not reveal theirs.
And of course, they hate sex because they don't have any, and think nature goes against spirit.

You're quite the miserable bunch. But so was I, so no hate.
You'll likely never have the courage to question your cross because you go by faith.
A self-inflicted intellectual death sentence, and you know exactly what I mean, before shutting down that uncomfortable thought real quick.

You asked about love and Song of Solomon is one of the most best books in the Bible that people ascribe to, even non believers.
In fact marriage between a husband and a wife was created by God, and governments. Which contains really good wisdom.
I could have gone way more hardcore Christian and done what you are saying I did.
The traps you lay will fall on you because your judgement is like twisted hate just seeking to poke daggers at Christians by bating topics to generic places.
Sucks to be you to have to be faced with that Solomon had thousands of concubines and maids and wives.
You didn’t have any other stories of anything better. Nor anything spiritually useful.

Epicurus teaches that all life is either the avoidance of pain or the seeking of pleasure. Of course it gets misunderstood and most interpreted as physical pain/pleasure. But it's more about pleasure being the absence of pain. Avoiding fear is avoiding pain, and leads to a pleasurable life. Personally I prefer Epicurean over cucked stoicism, and the philosophy was completely bastardized into someone who seeks the physical pleasure of life.

well maybe there are two things that we call love one being the desire for another person and the other where two people can find something good in one another but anyway i believe this is always an asymmetric thing and is in this that lies suffering and some even maybe find boredom or sameness in finding someone equal to oneself, so it is an experience both subjective and also shared and in its complexity can give place to many experiences that i consider always can help to grow the "spirit" or whatever you believe that is

>most best

I'm not even OP you absolute cretin.
Getting that angry proves a point.

I assume you are an 'orthodox' as your reasoning is that of an inbred peasant.
Might be wrong though.
Unlike you of course.

You seem to be absolutely right. :)
