When Muslims are probed by Christians over how they know which part of the previous scriptures have been corrupted and which have not, then the answer can be the Qu'ran again. Muslims take whatever the Qu'ran affirms which matches with the previous scriptures. If something in the previous scriptures conflicts with the Qu'ran then it is to be rejected. There's no such thing as circular arguments, fallacies, logic and reason in Islam, these are concepts from Greek philosophy which have no basis in Islam. There can only be the plain text right there in front of you. For Muslims, it's very very simple:The Qu'ran IS the criteria. The Qu'ran IS the deciding factor as to how arrange Truth from falsehood. If someone attempts to go any deeper than this they are seen as stubborn and not worth engaging with. The only criterion for Muslims is what the book says. Whatever the book says is true and whatever conflicts with it is false, and if you can't see this you must be affected by evil or mentally insane.
