Whats a muslim/jew that accepts Jesus Christ as the messiah but still keeps the other tradition(doesnt convert to christianity) called?
>>
Satanism
>>
No true Scotsman.
If he accepted Jesus as the messiah, he would live his life in accordance with the word of God. If you are truly saved by the grace of God, you would act like it too.
>>
Jesus is the messiah in Islam.

Let's be honest here, that's just one of those things like Hindu's saying "Buddha was an avatar of Vishnu" where a religion tries to undercut another by saying "Oh we worship them too, they just bear zero similarity to your version".
>>
Doesn't exist. The closest you get are Messianic Judaism and Chrislam.
>>

He is referred to as the messiah in the quran. And he isn't worshipped.
>>

>isn't worshipped.
Well yeah see there that's just proving my point, worshipping the messiah is kinda a big deal in Christianity
>>
>>18617166
>worshipping the messiah
In that case, this anon
>>18617063
Is more or less right, since neither muslims nor jews worship Jesus
>>

Arian. But the closest we have is Jehovahs Witness.

The OP could be better worded. Accepting Jesus as the messiah does not necessarily imply worship or attaching divinity to him.

A Muslim, Islam accepts Jesus as the Messiah
>>
>>18616950
>what do we call someone who converts to christianity but does not convert to christianity?
>>
>>18617688
This, really. Calling Jesus the messiah does not automatically imply believing Him to be part of the Holy Trinity as in Christianity
>>
>>18616950
A muslim
>>
>>18616950
Heretical christian convert? Schismatic? Protestant?
>>
>>18616950
heretic or retard
>>
>>18618403
Arians had a Trinity, just one where God the Son and the Holy Spirit are derivative of God the Father.

Jesus is very clear that He and the Father are One, that if you've seen Him then you've seen the Father and Paul says He is the image of God; and John very unambigiously says that the Word (Jesus) is God. There is no way around this. Jesus literally is God and only by believing and knowing this can you actually be fully in communion with God and therefore an actual Christian following Jesus understanding who He truly is.

Hes not a messiah. Hes the Messiah.
Every messiah in the OT brought Gods people back to the temple. The Messiah brought the temple to the people. If you believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, you will end up having the Holy Spirit (God) in you. Thats totally incompatible with islam.

And worshipping the messiah is kind of heretical in other religions, what's your point?
>>
A muslim or ebionite
