You have the unfortunate condition of having been born in the 21st century and having to choose:

You either return to Christianity, reject all the conveniences of atheism and live coherently in accordance to it and not to whatever science determines

Or abandon that hollowed out shell of christian morality, build a new system based on something else, possibly natural selection for example, wich contradicts the niceties and empaties of Christianity as a waste of time

Or believe in nothing. Die over nothing, live for nothing. Let yourself die with the conviction it was pointless, be it through old age or a rope, you might outwardly pretend to have picked either, but in your heart, when nobody's looking and consequences dont apply, you believe in nothing

The idea that the only spiritual paths one can take in life are Christianity or atheism is the stupidest shit imaginable. If anything, Deism is the enlightened path.
>>

There's nothing "spiritual" about deism, it's literally just a position that accepts arguments for a very general non-specific non-interventionist god of the philosophers without committing to any spiritual woowoo.
>>
deism unlocks the "prayer" ability
helpful in moments of despair
>>

Any system even tangentially related to the notion divinity can be rightly characterized as spirituality.
>>

Deism is the excuse to create a God in your own image that agrees with everything you do and doesn't demand you so a single thing you don't wish to do.
>>
>>18616993
Yeah, you can also believe in demonic crap like Buddhism. That's a third option
>>

What's "demonic" about Buddhism?

No, organisms that cooperate are far more successful than the ones that are a detriment to others.

He is purposely being obtuse for the purpose of humor since Buddhism is one of the few major religions that doesn't explicitly necessitate some demon king creator.

You mean irreligious spirituality. Like a form of pantheism mixed with eastern spirituality such as buddhism i suppose, because deism is not a religious or spiritual practice.
>>
>>18617028
youre kidding. Deism posits that God doesnt intervene in the universe. It makes prayer pointless. Also you cant just assume the universe needed a creator.
>>
>>18618027
You don't organized religion for spirituality, in fact through organized religion it's impossible to find spirituality

>all the conveniences of atheism
What conveniences would those be, Anon? Which studies require me to reject the idea of God?
> build a new system
Good luck.
>natural selection
>contradicts the niceties and empaties
It literally doesn't. Nature selects for quite a lot of empathy.

What did atheism invent?
