Why do thirdies want their historical artifacts back when they are one revolution away from some Islamic sect destroying them all because they made Momo jealous?
If they really cared about their history wouldn't they want them to be stored in the west where they are safe from mentally ill people chimping out?
Also most of the artifacts were either 100% legitimately bought, gifted or found when the locals had 0% interest in them.
The non europeans thought westerners were crazy for giving any value to ancient crap.
But now you want to show the colonizer who is boss when ironically you yourself have been mentally colonized aka westernized to care about ancient crap that your ancestors literally gave zero shits about.

>Pic related was looted during the 2011 Egyptian revolution and has been missing ever since.

At least if it was the desert cult you understand the reasoning (Momo jelly) but quite often it seems to be just random people wanting to melt the artifacts for gold or sell them which usually means destroying them in the process.
Imagine what kind of a subhuman you would have to be to melt down or destroy your civilizations priceless artifacts for cash.

Agreed, they should let british museum curators with a gambling addiction secretly sell them on ebay.
