Are modern christians too uppity about sexual stuff and content?In the middle ages, it was not unusual for cities to have 100x more prostitutes than you have in a modern city. Priests lived in these cities and didnt make too big of a deal about it relatively speaking.Now in modern times you have christians saying you cant watch that anime or that show because it had nudity in it. We live in an age that in some parts also has less sex than before.So what gives? Is the modern attitude just puritanism or what?

My wife’s mom who is Roman Catholic told me she doesn’t care about the Bible. At all. Doesn’t fear condemning it as they have their own beliefs.
