Now that the dust has fnally settled.......was it aliens?
>>18629773They were local natives and sometimes they even got food.
>>18629773it was me
>>18629773Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, there's no way to know for sure and to say otherwise is pure arrogance
>>18629970It wasn't aliens, and the fact that the Egyptians used scaffolding ramps and pulleys to move the huge limestone bricks has been known since Herodotus
>>18629773Idk but even if they had a massive pool of dispensable slaves it still required unhuman organizational and engineering skills to finish such monuments
>>18629773>white people couldn't build it therefore it must be aliums
>>18629773Nah, we have the archeological evidence of the development of increasingly complex mortuary monuments in the 10+ generations up to this, and then we can see how they developed new techniques to do it faster and cheaper in later generations by using rubble fill, that resulted in as impressive then but less permanent monuments. Those were raided for their finished stone by subsequent kings, leaving just a giant pile of exposed rubble.
its literally just big stones being stacked on top of each other, the only complex parts of it would be organizing the logistics behind it and even then thats just something a state does, they weren't caveman they knew basic concepts on how to move big things
>>18629773The non-meme question this thread should be about is what they were used for?>they were tombslol.
>>18630076There's literally writing all over the inside that says shit like "HERE LIES KHUFU THE GOD". They were tombs, retard.
No, it was regular human engineers. And they didn't get it right the first time, or every time they tried. Egypt's deserts are littered with failed pyramids. And those are just the ones we know about it. There are likely many other failed monuments that were either torn down for building materials or whose rubble has long been covered by the sand. Hazards of building next to a vast sandy desert.
>>18629773No.
>>18630076Why lol? We know pyramids developed from stacking mastabas.
