Yeah actually, it is literally Catholicism.Nobody else has papal authority of the kind required to call a crusade.And for what it's worth, the church does not actually condemn the Crusades but rather apologizes for the actions of *individuals* who participated because their personal deeds weren't in accord with the gospels.They still hold that the Crusades themselves meet the definition of just war.
