What modern form of Christianity is closest to what the Crusaders believed?
>inb4 Catholicism which apologized for the Crusades and today works to bring the people they were fought against into the West
>>
Modern forms of Christianity do not worship Baphomet in secret, so none.
>>
Yeah actually, it is literally Catholicism.
Nobody else has papal authority of the kind required to call a crusade.

And for what it's worth, the church does not actually condemn the Crusades but rather apologizes for the actions of *individuals* who participated because their personal deeds weren't in accord with the gospels.
They still hold that the Crusades themselves meet the definition of just war.

What about the immigration part?
>>
>>18630218
It's irrelevant.

That has next to nothing to do with the tenets of their religion and especially not their ecclesiology, it's humanitarianism they engage in primarily because *your government* gives them money to provide these services.
Many Catholic charities already existed before 2015 and the migrant crisis, and because of this they picked up state contracts to help these migrants.

Call it cynical, but they're more interested in keeping the money coming in and that incentivises them to advocate for continued migration.

If they weren't getting the funding, others would instead.
It just so happened that they already had the charitable infrastructure in place when unaffiliated NGOs started boating them over by the millions.

Like, if you bothered to spend time finding out what crusaders themselves believed you would end up finding yourself learning quickly that the song "Salve Regina" was very popular among them.

Enough to sing while going into battle.
There's literally nobody else still singing it that I know of. Maybe a few "anglo-catholics", but they're even known to pray the rosary.

However they accept women as bishops and reject the Pope, and the crusaders would think that is ridiculous considering it was the Pope who declared the Crusade in the first place.
So there you go. It's the one answer OP doesn't want to hear. But in fact it is the same Catholic church which did the Crusades that still believes in the same things the crusaders did. There's simply no one else.

Who else believes in purgatory?
The indulgence the Pope attached to service was explicitly about purgatory and penance.
The Catholic Church to this very day still grants indulgences.

Catholicism, though not by as much as you'd think. Maybe specifically the Union of Scranton or (stretching it) traditionalist Catholics who hate VII. But the difference in closeness is marginal.

However, I think there there is no direct equivalent to the folk religiosity of the crusaders and crusader fervor. That form of catholicism has not existed for a while.

No one is stealing houses from the middle east thinking they are holy relics anymore, E.G.

If the Pope can raise the call for a crusade, the Pope can also apologise for certain wrongs done in its name.

You mean a settler colony of deranged racist psychopaths who get aroused at maiming, raping, starving and torturing Arab children? Try zionism, evangelicals are literally modern day crusaders

That was merely judeochristian euroaches doing to themselves what they did to SWANA, 4th crusade was the only good and just one
>>
>>18630160
Zionists and judeochristians in general worship Baal (YHWH)

Chosenites from Europe and the US literally are with the belical, political and financial support of judeochristians
