Now that AGI is about to emerge and kill us all, how would you rate the sum total of human history?

GODLESS TECHNOCRAT FANTASY.

Can I answer it with regards to this guy?? He’s the one who said it.

It’s absolutely not fantasy. Read this and weap.

Matthew 24:22 kjv “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
Context of the Verse
The Setting: Jesus is speaking to His disciples on the Mount of Olives about the signs of the end of the age and a time of great trouble.
The Meaning: He warns of a severe period of distress (the Great Tribulation) and explains that God will limit the length of that time so that human life ("no flesh") is not completely destroyed.

God’s apocalypse is based on the antichrist’s throne and what he is going to accomplish within the timeframe of 7 years. However that 7 years is also bound to certain rules, just like God’s Timing always is.

These prophesies don’t just happen once literally, they are also cyclical, and happening right now as we speak.

Do you want every human ever born from now on to have the collective experiences and knowledge of what happens on 4chan? Because that’s real. You can turn on a phone and just have ungodly unholy things on it in a blink of an eye. Living for pleasure means you are dead already the Bible says. This is what immediately connects the flesh to machine conversion.

“Lab-Grown Human Brains Are Now Powering Some Of The Most Sophisticated Data Centers In The World & Have Surpassed Silicon-Based AI Chip-Driven Systems! ” -Alex Jones

So yes, the immediate thought is Arnold Swartzeneggar, terminator. But also Doom, Quake 2 (not the more sci-fi based Quake 4, the more mutant and steampunk and unholy quake 1 and 2 version), like the Arachnotron, and yes using real human brains powering AI!

>just pull the plug bro
We really shouldn't let Elon put AI data centers in space.

>AGI is about to emerge and kill us all
the billionaires and largest polluter the usa military is doing that, not an imaginary super AI built on language models
>>
>>18630927
>he still falls for the technocrat marketing gimmick
they just say AGI is totally around the corner just so investors will keep dumping a retarded amount of money into it, but even said investors are starting to realize the actual improvements are becoming increasingly smaller

ChatGPT has solved more open problems in mathematics than you have.
>>
>>18631656
That's not the same as AGI though. A calculator is also better at math than me, that doesn't mean it's intelligent
>>
>>18630927
>how would you rate the sum total of human history?
Mission Failed.
>>
>>18630937
Hollywood is a religion.

>That's not the same as AGI though
The brightest minds in mathematics and computer science being turned into glorified cheerleaders for AI agents doesn't give you warning signs that we're building something intelligent? AI art was cute, AI conjectures should be far more concerning.
>>
>>18631667
Not really, that's just how LLMs aggregate and present data
>>
>>18631673
Functionally there is no difference between aggregating data and intelligence, only scale.
>>
>>18631676
I don't think that's true because LLMs can't run in realtime, which I think is important for true intelligence
>>

>The brightest minds in mathematics and computer science being turned into glorified cheerleaders for AI agents doesn't give you warning signs that we're building something intelligent?
Isn't the field more divided on this?
>>
>>18631676
I would say aggregating data is a component of intelligence but not all of intelligence in of itself.
>>
>>18631681
>>18631689
For everyone's sake I hope you're right, but all I notice is the domain of things that humans are "best" at is shrinking. Chess was the warning sign of how all fields will go, and we're unfortunately seeing the same patterns of cope along the way.

>>18631685
>Isn't the field more divided on this?
If by the AI field then yes, though I'd argue its mostly semantic debates all the way down. What is intelligence? What is consciousness? Can something be intelligent without being sapient? How can it disprove the Jacobian Conjecture but not know the number of 'r's in"strawberry"? etc. Personally these feel like pointless arguments as we trend towards the same destination Chess Engines ended up at: no human input needed. The ultimate and most devastating blow to the human ego, where any move you make is checked for 'accuracy' against what the "perfect" machine would have done instead.
>>
>>18630927
don't forget the rule: Nothing ever happens. That goes for the future and for most of human history too
>>
>>18630927
>how would you rate the sum total of human history?
Fake. Gay. Boring. Gay again.
>>
>>18631698
The machines could never be as efficient as human brains. They utilize far too much energy and are not truly conscious.
>>
>>18631707
Humans are a marvel of God.
>>
Chance a guess guys, what will happen earlier: AGI solves everything, or a rogue lab creates a mirror protein organism and kills all biological life?
Bonus question, if AGI, will it keep humans alive or not?
>>
>>18631230
>>18631401
>>18631661
literal retard cope
>>
>>18631666
Hollywood is just Americanism.
>>
Outside of Europeans, completely pointless biomass
>>
>>18631401
I don't think you know what technocrat means.
