In 1953, Iran's democratically elected left wing government was overthrown by the CIA, and a US backed dictator, the Shah, was installed. In 1954, Guatemala's democratically elected socialist government was overthrown by the CIA, and a US backed dictator was installed. In 1971, Argentina's democratically elected socialist government was overthrown by the CIA, and a US backed dictator was installed. It's a clear trend that whenever I third world country elects a left wing government that tries to free their country from the control of international mega corporations, the US steps in and overthrows them replacing them with tyrants who promise not to challenge the power of global capital. America is the head of a global empire of greed. In order for humanity to progress, the American Empire must fall.
>>18633646>dude people can just cook steel in their backyard!
>>18633656It's funny that American Imperialists always bring up the worst examples of Communist tyrants such as Mao or Pol Pot whenever you talk about this. I'm not talking about dictators like Stalin or Castro. I'm talking about DEMOCRATICALLY elected governments. All they wanted to do was nationalize the industry owned by international mega corporations, so that the profits from those industries would go towards education, healthcare and housing for the people, rather than into the bank accounts of some foreign billionaire.
>>18633646>>18633666Democracy is shit, peasants and workers are dumb simpletons who deserve no gibs or say in politics, they are not intelligent enough to manage a country and should always be ignored. Read Plato's Republic
>>18633666You're braindead.
>>18633666>industry owned by international mega corporationsAnd that's a bad thing how?
>>18633656So mao was right. China got nukes in 1964 while Iran still doesn't have them.
>>18633733Ok. Your industry is now run by Chinese megacorps.
>>18633739I don’t have a problem with that, business is business
>>18633646>>18633666>guy who just learned about the cold war
>>18633733The wealth of a nation should go to building roads, schools, and hospitals, funding education, healthcare, and housing. It shouldn't just go straight into the wallet of a foreign billionare.>>18633732That fact that you've already stooped to personal insults shows that I'm right and you can't refute what I'm saying.
>>18634069Poor people do not deserve gibs
>>18633646the Dulles brothers caused a lot of problems.turns out when you overthrow democracies, it can bit you in the ass in the long run.
>>18633723Guess what - Plato was probably a part of a civlisation killed off by jews as well. The banker kind that blends with the crowd. And now he's dead.We all share the same fate because we have not learned our lesson since time immemorial.>"The only way to keep evil in check is firstly: physical power, overwhelming force, to eradicate even the slightest possibility of it returning - secondly sacrifice, in the times of good, to give your life of leisure into the altar of war, to preserve the good times for Your children and grandchildren; Third is an undenying loyality to the orders given, and lastly it is the subtle understanding of one another, all minds thinking differently - but in the same way, capable of not only doing one thing together, but correct one another with the ways thought-out together, in one purpose."1. We cannot communicate with stupid people on a deep - understaning level.2. Strong people don't teach weak how to fight, in times of peace.3. In times of war the orders are disregarded in best armies - there is no widespread loyality to the grave, to the last bullet.4. Sacrifices in times of peace are seldom done or even non existent let alone some times - for evil's sake - ridiculed.5. People that run things, let alone people who do things, or those who make it possible are not - nor ever were ruthless enough to eradicate all evil in it's path.
>>18633646Sounds like a skill issue more or less
>>18633646Mossadegh literally wasn’t a leftist the dude opposed Tudeh
>>18634069>That fact that you've already stooped to personal insults shows that I'm right and you can't refute what I'm saying. No, it doesn't. :)
>>18635157You're right, but he wanted to nationalise Iran's oil industry which was owned by foreign billionaires. Even though he wasn't really a leftist, nationalisation is an economically left wing policy and it's the reason he was toppled.
>>18635178It does, because you chose to have a melty rather than refuting any of my actual points.
>>18635157I think Tudah also supported the Soviet occupation and attempted annexation of northern Iran a few years earlier and believed Iran should become part of the USSR, so I think it was reasonable for the shah to crack down on them
>>18633646Not to forget the Korean War and the Vietnam War, where the US tried but failed.
>>18635266>D-debate me~~~I don't feel like it.
