I just wanted to express how much I absolutely love and adore ancient Roman/Greek mosaic artwork. Just incredibly mesmerizing. You can just feel the pure warmth and ancient aquatic energy emanating from it. The geometric almost psychedelic swirling that makes you dizzy to look at, beautiful Dionysus in the center with interwoven ribbons encircling the outside. Just think of the absolute colossal engineering that it would take to build this tile by tiny colored tile across a large temple sized floor with mathematical and geometric precision. When admiring this work, I’m filled with a wild and ancient sense of mystery and wonder. I don’t say this to exaggerate, but there seems to be something truly esoteric and magical about pieces like these. If anyone else likes Roman/Greek mosaics, I might make this into a dedicated board to post every now and then. If not at least enjoy this delight for once and cherish it as it graces your eyes.

I’m glad you enjoyed. The originals are all over Google images or whatever search engine you use. The funny thing is that most of the originals are old pics, or the original mosaic is in bad physical condition so I’m trying to digitally restore, enhance, and touch up the mosaics to imagine what they looked like when they were first built. Will be posting many more in the thread it’ll just take some time over the next few days to upload finish editing and upload them all.

All the great mosaics are mostly Roman. They were the true masters and pioneers of mosaics. They basically took the original Greek tradition of mosaics and raised it to an entire new level. Attached is an extremely legendary Greek mosaic “The Stag Hunt” (325 BCE), probably one of the most famous Greek mosaics. Some other Greek mosaics if you ever look through them just aren’t on the level of the Roman mosaics but still beautiful,

Huh? Yes I’m using AI to assist with restoration. Most of the original mosaics aren’t in best condition and damaged or badly weathered. The original Dionysos hair is literally orange and you can barely make out the weathered/damaged faces in second mosaic. Idk why you think this is some gotcha, i already clearly stated these are restorations pieces to imagine what they’d look like new. If you’re not interested just move along.

I've bought some cheap mosaic tiles a week ago and plan to start making Roman-looking mosaics in the future. I have no experience in the matter but hopefully I wont fail or abandon it. I would like my mosaics to represent specific events though, not just be geometric shapes, so something like this

‘Medusa’ at Diana Theatre, Alexandria Egypt (~150 AD) - This took me almost 12 hours to restore, very painful but was too beautiful to pass up…the geometry is too complex with such large chunks of damage in original mosaic missing I had to calculate the cascading feather pattern. Probably not gonna do one like this again if it’s missing that much in the future.

prophets Muhammad, Moses and Jesus are all subjected to abuse in that Tibetan text, look at the articles.

Uyghur women were also infamous for temporary marriage prostitution to non-Muslim men in the 19th-20th centuries including Han, Russians, Hindus.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uyghur_women_under_Qing_rule

They are not patriarchal warriors unlike Yezidis who would kill an Arab for looking at his women.

Evola only praised Uyghurs because he thought they were racial kin to Europeans, being part Caucasian with some having blonde hair. Otherwise he would have ignore them like the multitude of Mongoloid Muslim ethnicities of China like the Salar Turks.

Evola did not foresee or predict the Chechen wars at all while he claimed, based on his racial fantasies, that an ethnicity of racial dayuth (Uyghurs) whose women were infamous for pr0stituting to non-Muslim men, & lost every rebellion they fought, would defeat Communism. roflmao

The Uyghur Sufi Naqshbandi master Afaq Khoja also betrayed his own people to the Buddhist Dzungar Mongols inviting them to invade and rape his own people in 1678 and take over the Yarkent Khanate in the Tarim Basin. He is worshipped by half of Uyghur Sufis as a Wali of Allah.

front page western media article about Uyghur dissident, is about an anti-China Uyghur Muslim female "dissident" mentioning about her sexual fantasies with non-Muslim Han boys in school and eventually marrying one. https://nytimes.com/2020/01/29/magazine/uyghur-muslims-china.html

The Uyghur Rebiya Kadeer's father was with the Uyghur Communist Ehmetjan Qasim who revolted with Soviet Stalinist support against the non-Communist Republic of China, while Stalin was mass deporting and murdering Chechen and Ingush and Crimean Tatar Muslims.

Why have you not spoke about these Islamophobic assaults?
