So clearly if yahweh picked the jews as his pet project, they were already sacrificing children. "God" (or an alien pretending to be God) INTENTIONALLY picked child sacrificing psychopaths to be the chosen people. What the fuck kind of God is that?? Not to mention Exodus 22:29-30 shows him wanting the firstborns...>"Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.>Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me."If we're doing the same with animals, are we putting a jew hat on them and converting them? Are we circumcising them? No, we're sacrificing them and doing the SAME with the firstborn sons. yahweh demanded child sacrifice and this is why Jesus was a sacrifice to yahweh.
Thank god im not a cracker forever mindbroken envious of jews
>>18651095In the Histories of Herodotus, written in the 430s BCE at book 2 chapter 45 he mentions a legend he had heard from Greeks about a time Heracles visited Egypt, and the Egyptians tried to sacrifice him to Zeus but he killed his captors and escaped. He says he finds this story to be preposterous because human sacrifice is incompatible with the Egyptian religion. From the Henry Cary translation>but the Grecians say many other things on this subject inconsiderately; for instance this is a silly story of theirs which they tell of Hercules: that, "when he arrived in Egypt, the Egyptians, having crowned him with a garland, led him in procession, as designing to sacrifice him to Jupiter, and that for some time he remained quiet, but when they began the preparatory ceremonies upon him at the altar, he set about defending himself, and slew every one of them." Now the Greeks who tell this story appear to me to be utterly ignorant of the character and customs of the Egyptians; for how can they who are forbidden to sacrifice any kind of animal, except swine, and such bulls and calves as are without blemish, and geese, sacrifice human beings? Moreover, since Hercules was but one, and besides, a mere man, as they confess, how is it probable that he should slay many thousands? And in thus speaking of them may I meet with indulgence both from gods and heroes.Archeological evidence would seem to support this view that human sacrifice was not a practice in Ancient Egypt long before 300 BCE. The only evidence of human sacrifice (as opposed to secular civil or military executions) is in early dynastic royal burials where slaves appear to have been killed so they could be buried with the king, but this was abandoned at the end of the 1st dynasty before 2900 BCE. Egypt didn't really become the great ancient civilization we think of until the third dynasty a few centuries later.
>>18651233The Egyptians are the only people I've ever studied in decades of sperging with no tradition of human-sacrifice. The closest we have is an old Muslim rumor about "the bride of the Nile" and Muslim history is notoriously inaccurate (i.e. all the Arabs in the time of Muhammad were pagan despite the crosses on their coins and Nestorian church records.) I find it odd because even the Romans buried Gauls in the marketplace during times of calamity.
>>18651095>So clearly if yahweh picked the jews as his pet project, they were already sacrificing children. "God" (or an alien pretending to be God) INTENTIONALLY picked child sacrificing psychopaths to be the chosen people. You act as though this is some secret lore you've uncovered and the Bible doesn't very explicitly say this.
>>18651233Why are you even mentioning Egypt. Most Jews during that time lived in Canaan, not Egypt
>>18651095The Jews brought civilization to the world, civilizing the Roman Empire and the Germanic barbarians bringing Jewish morality through Christianity. While the Roman navy of the most powerful Empire of the world was not able to reach the New World - the Americas, Christopher Columbus, son of a Jewish mother, reached the Americas and the greatest expansion of history was made possible by bringing Jewish morality to pagan Native Americans.Jewish excellence gave birth to Europe, it overthrew all the empires that tried to annihilate the Jewish people - Babylon, Egypt, Rome, Nazis... names that today are just a thing of the past, while Jewish prosperity increases with each century and the Great State of Israel becomes ever greater.
>>18651272And where is greater Israel? Can't even defeat arabs lol
>>18651272>being this historically illiterateIt was the other way around cut schmeckleRome civilized Ivdaea
>>18651095yahweh is not God.yahweh is satan, the evil one, the devil.Jesus Father is a completely different entity and this is repeatedly stated in the Bible if you open your eyes. The evidence is here:https://xenosarc.substack.com/p/yahweh-the-god-of-the-old-testament
>>18651095that's not what that verse meansthe Israelites were also not sacrificing infants until after influence from other nations like Assyria and Carthage when the Kingdom of Israel and Judah already existed and fell into polythiestic idolatry as the Bible describesGod chose these people long before this when Abraham and his family were just humble peaceful shepards i.e. when they were just the nomadic 'habiru' in Canaan, caravans of wandering sheep-herders>>18651252anon is probably mentioning Egypt because by the time of Exodus the Hebrews were essentially a class of Egyptian people and had been living there for some time and historical records show that there was in fact some kind of exodus of a group of people from Egypt such as the Osarseph story with the leper colony at Avaris being lead by a monothiestic priest (shortly before a Hyksos invasion) or similar tales. Even some of the naming conventions of the Hebrews was Egyptian e.g. Moses is like the '-mosis/mose' part of Egyptian names such as 'Ramosis/Ramose' or 'Thutmose'so if the Egyptians never did human sacrifice then there's no reason to think the Hebrews did pre-Kingdom of Israel since they were just a colony/enclave of Egypt at the time of Exodus
>>18651528everyone is coping. Child sacrifice is EXACTLY the interpretation which logically follows from the text if it's read literally. cope cope cope not muh Bible!
>>18651528the only thing you can say is well maybe the jews just lied and said God demanded child sacrifice because we're sick fucks who want to kill children. Maybe. Maybe the jews slaughtered the Amalekites and stole their money because they just wanted to, but then justified it in their holy books and claimed God commanded them to do it. You would think God would just straight up hate and smite these people but instead he sent Jesus to give them a second chance, which doesn't seem fair at all...
What ancient society DIDN'T kill children one way or another? Frankly, we would benefit if we genocided all late zoomers and alphies and started anew, that stock is utterly fucked and broken. Millenitards should be put in camps and re-educated on how to raise normal people.
>>18651732>What ancient society DIDN'T kill children one way or another?Fucking white people dude. And East Asians.
>>18651660>You would think God would just straight up hate and smite these peopleGod did in fact send Nebuchadnezzar and his armies to conquer Israel and Judah and destroy the temple for exactly this though, that's why the exile into Babylon even happened, because of the child sacrifice
>>18651762Anytime they dig up a pre-industrial brothel, nunnery, or orphanage in the West they often uncover tons of infant skeletons.
>>18652433isn't that just because the infant mortality rate was high before the invention of soap, antibiotics and vaccines?
>>18652429Hmmm... then maybe the jews made up that he wanted child sacrifice. He did say repeatedly after that passage that the desire of child sacrifice never entered his mind. But he did want animal sacrifices, and then Jesus does seem like a human sacrifice to God...
>>18652807Jesus is fully God and fully human and goes to the cross willingly, this is why Jesus' sacrifice is not just a human sacrifice/middleman being sacrificed on God's behalf and why Arianism is a heresy that doesn't make sense
