Very interesting theory. If you look at Earth as a consious being you can perhaps look at underground funghi networks as her brains. Go ahead and look into it. Scientists recently discovered that funghi's can communicate telepathically with eachother so why not with us? Perhaps those leyline hotspots are also used to broadcast thoughts. Lots of ancient structures are build on such locations and maybe they were ment to sort of worship the telepathic or energetic contact they had with Earth.
