Realistically, what could he have done in 1917 to unfuck his situation and Russia in general?
Was it all just realistically beyond any ruler to fix and was he doomed from the get go, or do his personal decisions and fuckups really determine how things went?
It seems most of his family and close associates always saw him as a pushover and weak personality who inherited the worst possible position someone of that temperament could get himself into
