Cause the effects were the polar opposite.WW1 aftermath saw the collapse of empires that had existed for hundreds of years (Habsburg, Ottomans, Tsarist Russia), and severely destabilized the empires that survived (Britain, Germany) which enabled their Irish and Polish subjects to also gain long-sought independence.WW2 aftermath was the opposite, it stabilized Europe by reverting back to pre-1939 normality but also under either extreme authoritarian government in the east or the overwhelming financial backing in the west that prevented economic and social stress.Also your question comes from a false premise because WW2 massively destabilized the rest of the world. Decolonization began immediately in Asia, and 3 years later all of Middle East was at war.
