There are many of you who try to refute verses you do not like, or say that the translation is the problem, instead of accepting what the verse says and reasoning what it means if you take it as it is. If you did this, what you would find out is that it all makes perfect sense.Others quote, "Salvation is from the Jews," and then many of you people try to blame this on the translation or something else. Only if you knew the truth and understood who the God of Israel is. The God they worshipped is not like other gods. You need to understand this in order to understand what this verse means.Their God is truth itself, ultimate reality, the ground of being, what ought to be. This is not like other nations and peoples: they worshipped created things or ideas or invented beings. They did not worship truth as their guide, ultimate reality as their God.The ground of being is alive; it is life, and because everything is grounded on it, it is also truth. And because of this, to have life, you must be formed into His likeness, and thus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." He sent His Son into the world to reveal Himself, the one and only true God, and His nature. And by being formed into His likeness, you will share in His eternal life.So yes, "salvation is from the Jews" is true. Who was it that revealed all this to you? It was Jesus Christ who entered the world to reveal to you the God they had worshipped since the ancient times: the way, the truth, and the life.And this has nothing to do with Jews of today and or the nation of Israel. Do not worry about them; worry about yourself. They indeed have the synagogue of Satan among them, and Jerusalem, that great city of Babylon. In these times, remember mercy, as it is said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And pray for them.The days have come near, and I can testify: I am speaking the truth.
So what if it is from the Jews, as if it would have been somehow better if Jesus was born among the Germans, or among the Zulu or wherever. I'd actually prefer a Jewish Jesus over a German one.
