You’re preaching to the choir. When Lot had to leave Soddom, he wanted his wife to come with him away from the evil city. But she still turned and was instantly vaporized into a pillar of salt. This is Old Testament but it fits into new testament as an allegory for what happens when people’s free wills , even while sanctified and made holy due to Lot being Abraham’s family, still led to a family member being instantly removed from the earthly realm. It isn’t known exactly what happened to her soul, whether saved or not, but since she was sanctified she was still killed in God’s wrath in a better way than Soddom and Gahmorah. Like Job’s family that was killed, only Job’s family disappearances were sadly met with hints that some of them might not have been saved, so when God resurrected them for Job, some of them didn’t come back. My own wife promised to marry me. Her mom won’t even let her talk to me.
Satan might appear to have “won” with leading some people astray, but that pertains to their own choices to either harden and follow Satan, or just willfully sin against God because they are stupidly in harm’s way. God knows every thought , even every feeling within us. but your attempt to say God loses because of these things , is where things aren’t true. Because Heaven must continue and God is a God of life and eternal life and goodness. And He keeps moving life forward. Extending it to others also even His enemies.
