Mussolini gets condemned for being pro-war, but was his position really so irrational when Trent was an Italian city under foreign rule? From an Italian nationalist perspective, wanting Italian-majority territory incorporated into Italy wasn't exactly some bizarre idea.
Was he really in the wrong for that?

Mussolini was pro war as a concept just like Pierre Proudhon. People who accuse him of that are pacifists who aren't able to handle actual radicalism

Most of the border corrections were made to give the Italians control of the passes, which is theoretically necessary to have a defensible border. Beyond that, the concept of what counted as part of Italy was flexible enough to let them invade any place that used to be Roman at some point, really, and they also happily invaded some other places.

But you had many pacifists like Mosley who went for Fascism because they believed that it was better to live in peace under a dictatorship than to fight for liberty

Mosley called himself fascist because in the brief window right after the failure of the new party to gain traction and before the rise of hitler being cemented it was the fashionable new thing. He resembled fascists only in his economic interventionism but nobody calls FDR fascist for the same thing

Yes, I do not disagree
Anyways, here's a picture of Mosley and FDR at the beach!

He launched an invasion of Ethiopia and Greece just cuz, and he said that perpetual peace is overrated and war weeds out the useless to empower the worthy.
