Why did presuppositionalism go out of fashion? Not too long ago it seemed like just about every Christian online thought it was the silver bullet to debating atheists.

There's also something to say about presuppositionalism being overly ambitious/arrogant, when the position just IS that the argument succeedsand if admitting that they *could* be wrong about any of this, is and admission that the argument doesn't work - it all but excludes good faith discussion also leads to ridiculous plot holesif the argument works, what accounts for the lack of persuasive success? why can't you just educate everyone into understanding the argument and becoming Christian? I just don't think we see this happening a lot. And you're better off scaring people with hell stories or something like that, if you want to save their soul
