Muslims don't believe in "peace" as long as there is still shirk/polytheism and enemies of Islam in the world. A Muslim feels disgusted to stand by side with a Christian, Atheist, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh in the name of "coming together for peace". Misery, war, conflict, and starvation are simply normal facts of life in Islamic thinking. These are tests or punishments from Allah. When a genocide of Muslims occurs such as in Gaza or Bosnia, then Muslims call on the UN and the West for aid and help, but Muslims DO NOT demand an end to war and conflict in totality. There's no such thing as quiet melancholic peace, reflection and happiness as far as Muslims are concerned. You must always be prepared for death, war, famine, harshness and cruelty and always be aware of the enemies of Islam and NEVER hold hands with them.
