It's funny how these Christians always appeal to an abstract Platonic-Aristotelian god when the YHWH of the Bible is clearly an old man who came from a mountain and sits on the clouds (Mark 16:19).
He is a concrete man who molded a clay figure in a magical garden and breathed life into it as if it were Pinocchio, who shared a meal with Abraham, who got angry because his soldiers were defecating inside the military camp, who was defeated by the enemy god because his soldiers had chariots.

He is, literally, an anthropomorphic god of antiquity.

It's not a Platonic idea during 90% of the Bible.

He only assumes this more abstract Platonic-Aristotelian character from the Gospel of John onwards.

you can also see this in how christcucks argued over time, the arguments, like their god, went further and further into the gaps into an unfalsifiable dimension. to the point where you have nothing but presup cope nowadays that doesnt get you to their specific god anyway.

I think Revelation is the most symbolic book and I think John tried to save the Bible by making it appear symbolic lol.

The split actually begins in the Old Testament, with the thing cobbled together from three main sources (J, E, P) who all characterize god in a different light.

J is the Jahwist (Yahwist) source. Uses the name yhwh early in the narrative. It has stories that read almost pagan like in which god interacts directly with humans like a pagan deity.

E is the Elohist source: Tends to call god Elohim before the revelation of the divine name to Moses.
Dreams, prophets, angels, and mediated divine communication are prominent and god is more of an abstraction.

Anyway, the whole thing is a frankenstein affair, wildly ahistorical, and cobbled together over thousands of years and retconned multiple times.

The Hellenistic and Roman period played a role too. For centuries, many educated pagans had begun to reinterpret myths as allegories and the gods as purely spiritual and transcendent beings who existed outside of the physical universe. The Jews claimed their scriptures were real history and they knew very well that Greek and Roman philosophers wouldn’t take them seriously if their “historical” texts depicted an anthropomorphic god of the Bronze Age. This is where the Septuagint comes in, if you look at the translation choices you’ll notice they seem to deliberately obfuscate the anthropomorphic nature of Yahweh. For example while the original Hebrew version says Moses say God’s backside, the Septuagint says he saw God’s glory.
