>start an entire "revolution" yapping about Freedom, Liberty, Rights of Man, etc...>literally slave ownersIt's endlessly hilarious how this one little caveat pretty much just turns the whole American "Revolution" into a joke for the rest of the world. Genuinely wtf were they thinking? Were they all just shameless about the hypocrisy or did they make any mental gymnastics to try and wriggle out a justification?
>>18682683Ho Chi-Minh admired the US founding fathers and only allied with the Soviets due to the contemporary American administration being retarded in foreign policy
>>18682683they didn't consider blacks human.there's nothing logically flawed in their reasoning taking that as an axiom.
>>18682700Not this meme again. Ho Chi Minh was always a communist + he was more of a mascot by the 1960s and no longer actually leading or making the real decisions.Anyways, pretty much everyone who has a grudge with the Brits admires the American Founders for giving the British a black eye, but nobody seriously thinks they "fought for freedom" really, the persistence of slavery is the permanent stain on America until the 1860s which just can't be shaken off, which is why Abraham Lincoln in turn is actually hyped up and fondly spoken of overseas.
>>18682706The problem is that Jefferson himself chose to publicly condemn slavery multiple times across different writings published under his own name, yet when push came to shove he basically pussied out big time and didn't do anything about it. He even had the gall to criticize the British monarchy for slavery, while still owning slaves himself (and not emancipating them), it's just beyond belief to even have the audacity to be a hypocrite of that magnitude. He could've and should have just kept his mouth shut entirely.
>>18682683Don't forget the massacres of Native Americans and driving them from their lands. >life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, unless you are brown, then get fucked > - Thomas Jefferson.
>omg what the politicans said was platitudes, they aren't actually saint omg *faintsYou absolute virtue-signaling retard. Next you're gonna read Caesar's "Gaelic wars" I be like>I don't think this reasons for attacking the Gaul pass scrutiny!>but slaverywho gives a fuck
>>18682792>>but slavery>who gives a fuckMost of the planet does, hence why America counts as one of the world's most detested and widely derided nations, and also why you'd never be caught dead talking smack like that in public.
>>18682792So you agree with OP? The American Revolution was a cynical act, devoid of any convictions and principles, and that America was founded purely on avarice?
>>18682683>Late 18th century elites owned slavesthis was true basically everywhere though? That or serfs, still unfree labor regardlessExcept Massachusetts and Vermont
>>18682833Yeah but those elites weren't talking about shit like "innate rights of man to liberty" or crying about how death is preferable to enslavement. Not to mention that the French abolished slavery in their own revolution which was only 2 years after the American states atified the Constitution+ as you said, Massachusetts men made-do without slaves, abolished the institution entirely as soon as they were independent, and ploughed their own fields as honest working men (something which warrants genuine respect and admiration). The comparison gets even worse when you remember that even Latin Americans abolished slavery pretty quickly (Mexico only exempting Texas from their abolition decree because of... Americans living there)
>>18682717> I can say with conscious truth that there is not a man on earth who would sacrifice more than I would, to relieve us from this heavy reproach, in any practicable way. the cession of that kind of property, for so it is misnamed, is a bagatelle which would not cost me in a second thought, if, in that way, a general emancipation and expatriation could be effectedJefferson's arguments against slavery were connected to his belief in White Nationalism (as it would have been understood at the time) and the idea that slavery involved the import and continuation of Africans in the United States. He didn't "pussy out" by not freeing his slaves, because he never wanted freedmen to be equal citizens of the US in the first place.
>>18682683That and there was a HUGE difference between a landed citizen (frequently owning hundreds of acres if they were of the government caste), and a man who did not own land; in the early US. The man with no land didn't even get voting rights.America, since the beginning, has always had second class citizens (unlanded peasantry) who were treated as second class citizens under law. Then also, white indentured servants had it a notch worse. They were frequently worked much harder than enslaved blacks, because their owners knew they would only have them for a handful of years and wanted to get the most work out of them possible. History books like to act like indentured servitude was a voluntary thing in order for poor people to get passage across the ocean to the United State. The truth is that they were usually either criminals being punished or people in serious debt. Many of them were worked to death.
>>18682683There were two ways they rationalized this back in the day>Blacks aren't fully human>we're actually doing them a favor by enslaving them and lifting them up into civilization
>>18682683Honestly it's extremely gay that people care so much about "hypocrisy".Everybody just does things in their self-interest, there's nothing particularly shocking about the Founders' actions. It was in their interest to have slaves and to be financially independent from Britain.
>>18682720This is not technically hypocritical because they didn't consider browns to be fully human. It's kinda like how today we believe Holocaust-esque mass industrial slaughter is bad yet we support the meat industry.
The whole USofA is pretty much a scam. Oligarchic potemkin village the size of a country to lure in and profit off idiots.
>>18682683>Start yapping about evil Pharoah "chattel" slavery>Literally practiced chattel slavery as their God commandedSlavery isn't condoned in the 42 laws of Maat but it doesn't stop the subversive Indian-Euro/Semite fags to claim Pharoah wuz a slaver in their Abrahamic/Secular books.
>>18682707>Not this meme again.wat?
"Rights of men" does not apply to non-Whites in this historical context
It’s cute that the browns think anyone cares about them.
The majority of people were still free, so as bad as slavery was the USA has always been a better place to live than any country under military or religious dictatorships. There were a decent number of signers who wanted slavery abolished with the Declaration, however that wouldve meant the country would've been fragmented before it even began. England was the common enemy and the slave and non slave states worked together against it. And then the USA literally had a civil war partially because of slavery. Which led to the country abolishing it. There are more slaves now than at any other point in human history, many of them in Africa and the Middle East.
>>18682683>It's another people complains about slavery in the past when they conveniently forget there are more slaves alive today than at any point at history, we all indirectly benefit from it and the only difference between the average person and a person in a slave society or society that openly practices slavery is that the slaves are hidden out of sight and you don't directly own them.
>>18682801>still doing the "world hates america" thingAmerica is on an uninterrupted streak of being the most attractive location for migration since the 19th-century. For Europeans, for third-worlders, for everyone. The funny thing, America didn't even need these migration waves, colonial stock population and economic growth was already hot on its own. They opened the floodgates and undermined their own country's identity. Slavery has been illegal for over 150 years, the Indians have been given reservations, segregation was abolished not just on public institutions but on private endeavors as well(effectively outlawing freedom of association), and 'disparate outcome' being blamed on systemic oppression has been law in the US for years. On top of that, your countries's cushy free healthcare and welfare systems are being held up by American taxpayers subsidizing your defense. All that desirability, all those changes that followed, all the defense obligations the US takes for countries across the ocean, and this is still your attitude. There are very few courses of action to correct the state of America in relation to the world today that be too far. You deserve much worse than you think.
>>18682801>Most of the planet doesAmerica should have stopped giving a fuck about what the planet thinks the moment it voted to kick Taiwan out of the UN and hand the CCP a seat on the Security Council. Sadly America has been far too patient and generous.
>>18683139>The majority of people were still free, so as bad as slavery was the USA has always been a better place to live than any country under military or religious dictatorshipsThe slaves themselves had better standards of living than Russian peasants had at the time.
>>18682683>>start an entire "revolution" yapping about Freedom, Liberty, Rights of Man, etc.>1790 Naturalization Act.Blacks were not considered people, why should they be included in our freedoms?
>>18682801Slavery/colonialism is too easy to tame white people into guilt-driven compliance with anything. Reparations are where things usually get spicy, they snap many whites out of their trance. Many would consider it "talking smack in public". Even so, the fact that European governments still couldn't bring themselves to vote no on reparations (albeit in a virtue-signalling non-binding vote) can only be seen as a stain on Europe's name.
>>18682683It’s really not that complicated. Only White male protestant/freemason English citizens were people. Everyone else was cattle. The founding fathers attempted to appeal to royalty over parliament many times. However, they were only met with either indifference “Shieeet Nigga, wat can I do?” to damnation once the king was buckbroken politically “Yo asses are traitors to parliament or something or whatever… submit or whatever…”The only conclusion is that the royalty was fucked silly by parliament and that it was now a puppet of swarthy kikes.
>>18682941The world does care about American hypocrites when they consistently keep using the same bullshit rhetoric as part of their propaganda warfare on everyone else
>>18683218>For Europeans,Absolutely not lmao. Remember when Trump loudly bitched about how only people from shithole countries are moving there instead of Norwegians? It was a nation wide laughing fit in Norway, "why would anyone downgrade by moving to fucking America?" is how it can best be summarized.
>>18683228You fucking idiot, the USA was in on that too. The point of the UN is as a diplomatic forum, mainland China possessing fucking nuclear weapons and 700+ million people (1970s numbers) meant there it was simply unfeasible to pretend they weren't the 'real China' and continue living in Lalaland. Nixon was a diehard anti communist, but not a deluded moron, he "acknowledged" communist China for the same reason you'd acknowledge a bit armed man joining your poker table at the bar.
>>18683256>USA acts like Israelis/Argentineans >Always bitching about Europeans (literally the one and only original white people)>Yanks still call themselves "whites" Maybe it's time you wake up and realize you behave like dumbass Latinos because that's what you are and that you are not Whites, as evidenced by your mentality simply being incapable of understanding us and our reasonings (which in turns always leads to these raging lashing outs).
OP this is by far the most retarded post I have ever seen on 4chan.Please unplug your router because you are genuinely clinically retarded, not even trying to be mean
>>18683508>nuh-uh, proof: libshit euros making fun of drumpfThe very first migration waves were from Europe, dumbfuck. And Europeans were flocking to America in droves well into the mid 20th-century, at which point America assumed the role of Europe's bodyguard anyway. Funny that you bring Norway because the earliest migrations during the days of the young republic were primarily from north/northwestern Europe. People from *your region* left places where slavery was already abolished to go live in a country where it was still active :-) But yeah, I already know current-day Europeans are so full of themselves they mock Americans for anything, they even laugh at Americans for daring to pray when bad things happen. >>18683520>voting no on reparations is "behaving like latinos">abstaining? that's for real white peopleThis is where we are. You'd kill yourself to spite America.
>history board>anons not knowing that germanic europeans moved in enormous numbers to america in its early days, making it one of the top-5 most populated countries in the world before the italian migration waves even started>those same anons act like they're educated and sophisticated dunking on ignorant "yanks"This board is hilarious.
>>18682683It wasn't inconsistent with the way the founders understood the world. For one, they believed Slavery was on its way out (which it more or less was) and would have dissipate don its own as time went by. Then they also believed Africans (like women and other such wretches) were categorically incompatible with republican government and self governance.>Were they all just shameless about the hypocrisy or did they make any mental gymnastics to try and wriggle out a justification? The latter.
>>18682683>It's endlessly hilarious how this one little caveat pretty much just turns the whole American "Revolution" into a joke It sure would be if you weren't a reductionist retard.
>>18683634Slavery was also abolished in the North less than 20 years after the country was founded
>>18682700Ho Chi Minh also killed his own fellow revolutionaries and other suspected "aristocrats", enabled a mini cultural revolution, and let out one tear to apologize for his "underlings" wrong-doings. Thanks to that dipshit the culture of that shithole also backpedaled into something worse than the medieval dark ages since the country is ruled by genuine communist niggers. Also when he was on his deathbed the fucker also asked the nurse to sing for him a Chinese folk song - hilarious since the whole country was heavily anti-China for that time.
>>18682700IIRC, Marxists in the early 20th century consider the USA the country that was closest to real Marxism, but that was probably because their only points of reference at that point were the US itself and all the monarchies and authoritarian shitholes of Europe
>>18683650They had somewhat good reasons to see it that way. Progressives were broadly popular, and other forms of populism, including explicit Socialism, had pockets of popularity.
>>18683512>the USA was in on that tooWhy did they vote no then?
>>18683506Well the world is dumb then
>>18682700Oh wow, Ho Chi-Minh? Damn.
>>18682683>start an entire "revolution"American revisionism made it into a "revolution" because they were desperate to get credit for the French Revolution.None of those noblemen, landowners, lawyers, merchants, pioneers, and plutocrats ever claimed it was a revolution. They kept saying independence and seceding from the overlord.
>>18682683Cancel culture and woke is literally God's punishment to us for trusting "the Dutch" to do business with.
>>18683642It wasn't their fault they did not see the Cotton Gin coming. Getting fucked by the Industrial Revolution wasn't anyone's fault.
>>18684059Humorously misplaced Facebook boomer.
>>18684059>Cancel culture and woke is literally God's punishment to usCancel culture and woke-mentality were both invented by people who believe in God. Catholic and Orthodox churches wouldn't exist otherwise. God doesn't exist but annoying people who believe in God like to make shit up. That's how it works.
>>18682720>white people cross indian lands>indians defend their land>whites defend themselves>indians lose biglybig soz about your ancestors being too busy smoking wampum and playing snatch-a-hoe to learn how to have a proper war, but they started shit they couldn't finish and history holds no pity for the loser>>18682801remind me again, why isn't slavery practiced around the planet today? who was responsible for stopping it globally? how did that happen?
>>18682683Because they didn't consider niggers to be human...duh?
>>18684053Which makes it far more based. Existing orderly institutions detaching from an empire are far superior to slopulist popular uprisings.
>>18683650Marxists still believed that an industrial economy was the best source material for a revolution at the time. And the US has the most industry around. They missed the US also had the least class distinction in the European sense of posh vs vulgar.
>>18682803There's nothing cynical about waging war for independence> The American Revolution was a cynical act, devoid of any convictions and principles, and that America was founded purely on avarice? It was founded on higher, superior principles of those of meek, incompetent masses.
>>18682803>convictions>principlesThe obsession with politics being about vanguards and their stupid little ideologies is a very recent phenomenon - of course the Founders finding it necessary to invoke its spirit shows how prominent it was beginning to be, and the not long after the French Revolution happened. Nevertheless, politics don't really require you to be a bleeding-heart ideologue for any "principles".
>>18683530>This is where we are. You'd kill yourself to spite America. This is what Americans do regarding healthcare lol>Eurofags have COMMUNIST healthcare? WE DON'T DO THAT IN AMERICA!>*has lower life expectancy than China and highest maternal mortality in the developed world*
>>18684152>who was responsible for stopping it globally? how did that happen? The British empire? The guys the USA has fuck all to do with?
>>18685136Leaving aside your fearmongering-led fantasy about people dying on the streets because they were refused treatment(which doesn't happen by law), are you aware that you being a defense vassal of the United States is what allows you to get away with a welfare state? You are literally bragging about freeloading from American taxpayers. The reason American life expectancy is lower is because 1. blacks and 2. white Heartland America has been thrown to the ditch and left to rot. Socialized healthcare would not bring down those overdoses and suicides.
>>18684152>who was responsible for stopping it globallyDo amerimutts actually try to take credit for the Royal Navy's global anti slavery policies?
>>18682683It wouldn't be so bad if the cowardly Jefferson hadn't become the figurehead. Washington, Adams, etc come across as imperfect men but who it's easy to acknowledge as acting in their own interests. You can see that they never really hid that fact, but also knew that others' desires - though different - were better served through independence of Britain, and so fomented a sense of brotherhood amongst quite disparate colonists
>>18682706>>18682717you can simultaneously understand that dark hell-spawned demons are not children of God while also believing that enslaving dark hell-spawned demons morally degrades God's children. Others believed that all dark hell-spawned demons ought to be destroyed, and that slavery was too good for them.
>>18685189>are you aware that you being a defense vassal of the United States is what allows you to get away with a welfare state?Always love this cope because Germany's welfare state began under Bismarck when Germany was still the world's most militarized state and the USA was considered less relevant than Spain in European affairs. Not to mention France always managed to provide for its welfare state and also fund their own nuclear arsenal, independent military industrial complex, and tell the US to shove it in NATO.Then of course you're confronted with the absolute hilarity of Israel having more affordable education and healthcare while Americans still give them money
>>18682801>Most of the planet doesis that why they invented slavery and spread it all over the world including america
>>18683530>they even laugh at Americans for daring to pray when bad things happen.Tbf it is pretty funny how religious Americans still are considering the circumstances. You're not turd world Africans or Middle Easterners, you are a majority white (just about) developed 1st world superpower. Please act like it instead of unironically still believing in angels and other retardation
>>18685572>dark hell-spawned demonsSatan isn't a God of evil that can just spawn races of demons to roam the Earth. That's sacrilege. God is going to send you to hell for this line of thought, enjoy burning
>>18686028>under Bismarck when Germany was still the world's most militarized state and the USA was considered less relevant than Spain in European affairs.Hardly relevant, except that it was the peak of European migration to the America. Hundreds of thousands of Germans alone during the 1870's.
>>18686170yeah, that dang Christianity is so backwards. What with it condemning troons and preserving the family unit. You should be like hypersexual Berlin women! Or dog eating Chinese
>>18686215Exactly, it has backwards beliefs like supporting infinite funding to israel to accelerate the end of the world
>>18682683The American Revolution had nothing to do with 'muh freedumbs!'. It was all about the 1% of colonial society really hating that they had to pay taxes after they started a war with the French colonies and begged Britain to bail them out. Apparently they were too retarded to hire accountents to cook their books for them (the way most 1%ers do today). The 'freedom' and 'rights' talk only started because they needed to find a way to encourage colonial poors to fight and die for their bottom lines.
>>18682683>yapping>tiktok wordAre you a TikTok zoomer?
>>18686774Yapping has been a word in English for at least over a hundred years now, Anon. A "yapping dog" isn't some newfound bondongle slang word.
>>18686779No shit. It hasn't really been used until recently by TikTok zoomies.
>>18686215At least the dog eating Chinese still know how to build railways and modern infrastructure, a skill that is evidently gone in the US today LMAO
>>18686208>races of demons roam the Earthcorrect and they make a hell of it wherever they hold dominion heaven is, of course, where the children of God in Christ, the light of God in Christ, hold dominionthe veil tore, and your old ideas about a separation between earth, heaven, and hell have passed away
