Why exactly do people hate them again?
>>
because priests tell them to
>>
An Italian pederast in a funny hat said so
>>
>>18685897
Because they confuse Continental Freemasons with all Freemasons.

priests never bring them up, there's a 50% chance you're a freemason, but most likely you're just a fucking retarded faggot

I, TOO, WONDER WHY A LUCIFERIAN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO MORAL PERVERSION, AND TO INTERNATIONAL SABOTAGE, IS SO HATED.

freemasons gave my abuela the diabetes o algo

Nepotist practices, corruption, trade of influences, playing both sides in every issue, disregard for the law and last but not least the custom top masons have to glorify themselves while being alive

Not one single person in this thread will cite any specific historical events when answering your question. They will appeal to vague conspiracy.

No, that's just your cognitive dissonance comin g into play to try reconciling freemasons as an omnipotent force with historical events whose outcomes very clearly only favor one side or the other
>>
>>18685928
but enough about the catholic church
>>
>>18685897
Because they sponsored the overthrow of stable monarchies and are gay. Fuck enlightenment values.

Everyone and their grandma was in the Freemasons until the first half of the 20th century. It was just a social club for middle to upper class people to hang out, engage in local affairs (like, town library is going bankrupt? you ask around in the lodge and people will pitch in) and do stupid roleplaying.

Then it went out of style (the introduction of TV plaing big part in it), and only a few old rich weirdos stayed. Around the same time, conspiracy culture becomes a big industry. So, the next generations look at these insular masonic lodges, then look back at history and see how many important people were in the masons, and assume a dark conspiracy, because they don't know that back then the Freemasons were much more mainstream. Nicholas II of Russia and several revolutionaries were Freemasons the same way Trump and Obama like golfing.
>>
>>18685943
>Because they sponsored the overthrow of stable monarchies
They didn't. Absolute monarchies still rule the world. If anything, they protected them allowing them to go underground.

>Fuck enlightenment values.
The freemasons are about "enlightenment values" in exactly the same measure as the Catholic Church is about "christian values"
>>
>>18686462
>Then it went out of style (the introduction of TV plaing big part in it)
If TV killed Freemasonry, then what is the internet going to kill? I would've said spirituality and religion, but that seems to be making a massive comeback. And what did radio broadcasting kill? Classical music?
>>

Statistically speaking? No, religion is still dying in the west I'm afraid. This seems to be more wishful thinking on the part of Christians if anything
>>
>>18687311
Yes Nietzsche-kun. The year is 1882, God is dead, and religion will be gone by the end of the 19th Century.

You have absolutely no clue how many women have been turned into new age schizo astrology witches by tiktok.

The age of enlightenment was a good thing. The church losing its power was a good thing. The rise of secularism was a good thing. The countries that embracen enlightement were leaving the ones that didn't in the dust. Look at Spain, the Empire embraced their old ways until the bitter and humilliating end by the Americans.
>>
>>18687532
very funny, now tell us how many people under 30 attend your local church
>>
>>18687574
I don't keep attendance. How many people under 30 attend your Freemason meetings or gay atheist orgies or whatever it is you do?
>>
>>18687572
New Age astrology isn't a religion, it's a series of spiritual beliefs that are often theistic but not always. Theism and Religion are two related but distinct things. Christianity is a religion, what 40 year old white women on social media are doing with crystals or whatever isn't
>>
>>18687589
>How many people under 30 attend your Freemason meetings or gay atheist orgies or whatever it is you do?
NTA but Freemasons aren't atheists. They literally do not accept atheists into Freemasonry. It's built on Deistic principles, you have to believe in a God to be a Freemason, they aren't specific on what God, but you can't be an atheist.
>>
>>18687593
It's alternative religion. Kinda like alternative medicine... If it was effective it would just be called medicine. If New Age "spirituality" (tarot cards, astrology, TikTok, crystals, child sacrifice) didn't scratch the itch for ritual and religion it wouldn't nearly as popular. Gotta believe in something I guess.
>>
>>18687573
The secular, liberal West has proven multiple times to be unable to handle Islamism

Ignoring that I initially said spirituality and religion here >>18687274 to cut this sentiment off at the pass, why do you say this?
>>
>>18687612
Still has a better track record than Christianity on that front
>>
>>18687633
>Ignoring that I initially said spirituality and religion
Not the same anon
>why do you say this?
Religion requires some kind of standardized and codified doctrine and religious authority. New Age spiritualism doesn't have this. This is why East Asian countries are considered irreligious even though many of them practice ancestor worship and maintain a level of spirituality
>>
>>18685897
the tl;dr version is that it's institutionalized corruption paired with radical kike apologism.

>Religion requires some kind of standardized and codified doctrine and religious authority.
Is this the academic consensus? Or merely the masonic consensus?

>New Age spiritualism doesn't have this.
Is this true? Do they not have de facto leaders or authorities?
I also can't help but think this definition rests upon the importance and particular interpretations of standardization and codification.
Would the definition also rest upon a perceived or professed consensus by the practitioners? For instance, would the spiritualist tiktok astrology witches be able to earn religious status by merely claiming to have a codified and standardized set of doctrines? Or would there need to be some sort of broader societal recognition? What happens when the doctrine that there are no doctrines becomes a de facto doctrine rather than de jure?

>This is why East Asian countries are considered irreligious even though many of them practice ancestor worship and maintain a level of spirituality
I am skeptical of a definition of religion so strict as to exclude something basic like tribalistic shamanic animism. Viewing people who sacrifice chickens out of fear to appease the spirits during a lunar eclipse as irreligious seems like an autism even freemasonry shouldn't be able to get on board with.
>>
>>18687657
I, for one, think your schizograph is based. Is there any way to escape the speculation loop though? Do we have testimonies by ex-freemasons confirming these speculations?

>The age of enlightenment was a good thing. The church losing its power was a good thing. The rise of secularism was a good thing. The countries that embracen enlightement were leaving the ones that didn't in the dust.
A good thing? Look at the West now? It was just a slow suicide from the very beggining. The man without faith is the man who has chosen to build his house upon a void, and is surprised when it collapses.

>>18687573
>Look at Spain, the Empire embraced their old ways until the bitter and humilliating end by the Americans.
Don't talk nonsense. Spain had already been infested with liberalism at every level for over a century—that, and nothing else, was the cause of its decline; there was no room left for a single additional traitor. The Traditionalist minority tried to reverse the situation by putting up a fierce fight (the three Carlist Wars of the XIX), but they lost; the Liberals controlled all the institutions and most of the national territory, and were backed by our eternal enemies—England and France—who naturally wanted to see us in the gutter. It was then—and only then, when Spain was literally in its death throes after that long century of internal strife—that the Americans dared to stage a false-flag operation to declare war on us. They killed their own countrymen just to rob a dying old man. That is indeed truly humiliating—dishonorable behavior. The Spanish soldiers—the handful of men left at their posts—conducted themselves in defeat like gentlemen and men of honor; the Americans themselves were so astonished by their conduct that they ended up paying them military honors (just as the Tagalogs did for the "Last of the Philippines" garrison).
