>>18688482Serious take, Rome wasn't perfect either. The (spoiler) Caesar-Servilia scene was gratuitous stupidity that made no sense for either character. Likewise (spoiler again) the Servilia-Octavia whatever that was. Both without a shred of evidence amd both in very bad taste to boot. And these are just the two obvious ones.That being said, it was still a great show, and it sucks that (some people) burmed down the set thereby sealing its fate.

I doubt he'd let himself get killed or utterly defeated in Parthia, and whatever the result, he'd undoubtedly put a good spin on it, in his own record of the campaign.
