Has there ever been a greater mismatch between reputation and reality as Eastern philosophy?>The art of warBy the nation worst at waretc.
Idunno OP. I'd much rather figure out what really happened on the fourth and fifth of October, 1986.
>>18690651>By the nation worst at warThat’d be India.
>>18690724Made up country invented by the british in the 1940s. 70 years of sucking at war can't compare to sucking at it for millennia
>>18690651Who lost the war against birds that can't fly?
>attack when they are weak run away when they are strongwoah is the is the power of ancient Chinese philosophy and knowledge
>>18690651>greater mismatch between reputation and realityThat reputation was mostly propagandized by drugged out white hippies who didn't understand wtf they were talking about anyways, and just assumed anything "non-western" must be the most profound thing in the world just because their daddies used to tell them "no."
>>18690651Being a retard acting in bad faith is why you'll never become smarter. Obviously the Art of War is not what someone in China would consider especially representative of their philosophical tradition, and, as is common in the Eastern tradition, the majority of philosophical content would be found in later commentaries (see: The Book of Songs, I-Ching, etc). If you weren't a retard and if you weren't acting in bad faith, you would bring up the Analects or the Tao Te Ching. But since a) you are underage you are only familiar with memes, and b) these texts are longer than 50 pages. You are entirely unfamiliar with Eastern philosophy, and much too unfamiliar with western philosophy to even approach a comparative critique, which is why your post and all replies above mine are substanceless slop devoid of any value. Kill yourself.>inb4 assmad chinkI'm whiter than you.
