Respect for Marius but Sulla all the way. By the time he came to power, events had moved beyond anhone's control and the best he could do was to hold it down and hope the next generation would sort things out. He was a realist first and foremost and his choices paid off long term.

He'll just blow by huge events and military campaigns in a few sentences, but he seems to have fewer modern ideological biases when compared with other pop-history creators. I will say that he has a weird favoritism towards certain figures, it was especially notable with Antony, but I did not notice it so much with Marius. If anything I think Sulla was given a much more balanced analysis, but that's probably just the fact that I have watched a few too many tribunate videos, breadtubers are fucking annoying.
