Worst 20th century president and it’s not even close
>>
He outlived your favorite president
>>
Never forget this FAGGOT sold out the American people to support Israel during the oil crisis

pthoo pthoo I spit on his grave
>>
>supposedly the most devout evangelical president
>his main fanbase is the party of atheism, islam, and lgbt

This ain't adding up chief
>>
>>18715583
Leftists hate Carter for East Timor
>>
>>18715626
Does literally ANYONE like Carter?
I have heard more praise for Nixon than for this guy
>>
>>18715630
I like him. He was both religious and scientific.
>>
>>18715564
literally one of the greatest and most intelligent men to hold the office
alas he was too nobel to be respected or listened to in this babylonian whore we call a country
>>
>>18715772
>tanks the american economy to support Israel

900 IQ play
>>
>>18715772
>greatests
Carter is in large part responsible for mainline Christians pushing
>the Bible never says gayness is a sin

>most intelligent
he has the exact same credentials as Hoover. that's not even an exaggeration.

Also being intelligent is not necessarily a good thing for a leader. Because it leads to extreme micromanagers (Carter) when leaders are inherently supposed to use broad strokes to guide and direct. Intelligent people are more reserved for navigating the technicalities for a leader.
>>
>>18715788
Wouldn't doubt if he was behind getting Anita Bryant cancelled.
>>
>>18715626
who cares about that random bumfuck area.
>>
>>18715788
i mean, he lifted Eisenhower's ban on gay Federal employees
>>
>>18715564
Everything about his presidency is reflective on late 70s America in general, it was the Malaise era
>>
>>18715678
>religious
The only religion he actively supported was the People's Temple and Judaism
>>
>>18715793
Leftists. You'd think they'd love him for "Israel is an apartheid state" and all that other stuff, but no. Instead they call him a genocider for East Timor
>>
He was for peace in the Middle East. War just gives Israel an excuse to land grab. And the US economy was already limping along. Remember Ford’s hollow WIN (whip inflation now).
>>
>>18715813
>Listing that as a positive
>>
>>18715564
Surprisingly, the only Annapolis graduate to be president.
>>
>>18715564
American people were totally unserious voters from 1960 to 2008
>>
>>18715626
Carter is the first neoliberal president, why would a leftist like him?
>>
>>18715564
>started the USSR sacking
>bad president
Chud my man, I've expected better from you. Cartman wasn't perfect in any way, basically he was an example why a man of ethics shouldn't be allowed to rule a country, but still.
>>
>picking Kennedy for his looks
>picking Nixon after LBJ screwed up race relations but not giving him a mandate or a Congress that could reverse it
>punishing Nixon for Watergate, taking a stupid scandal like that more seriously than actual policy
>thinking Ford was clumsy because of a fucking fabricated SNL parody (literally were they even paying attention???) and hating him just for pardoning Nixon (again, the autistic fixation on this stupid scandal)
>Carter. Huge fuck up
>Come to their senses after the Carter wake up call, bring in Reagan and HW Bush to clean up the mess, which they do just fine
>Suddenly decide to throw it all away again and elect a slick sleazy bad boy womanizer who consolidates all the worst nightmarish policies of the 20th century, free trade, mass immigration, and anti-white political correctness, into one platform that will consume the Democratic Party and throw the Republican Party into an existential crisis trying to stop this Platform Outta Hell, basically giving the whole country a 40 year headache just because John Rawls told Clinton he gotta be like more empathetic man, have some feelings.
>>
>>18716041
It sounds like what you're really mad about is Bob Dole's policies and Nixon's fakeness. Sorry that your inferior white nigger mind can't comprehend the reality of the Republicoons enough to refrain from a partisan mythology that's been dead longer than the nation-building myth.
>>
>>18715940
>Remember Ford’s hollow WIN (whip inflation now)

the economy was recovering in 76 in fact and inflation had been dropping
>>
>>18716041
>picking Kennedy for his looks
General charisma but also you're missing all the younger beatnik proto-hippie Silent Gens rallying behind him, powerful young electorate, and older Silent Gen and Greatest Gen living in a ridiculously prosperous and comfortable environment where Kennedy seemed like a "nice young man who sounds like he might make them negroes behave by talking with them gently". Suburbanites didn't really like reading in the news various shitty things that happened to negroes, not necessarily because they loved them and were giga anti racist but because when you're so used to quiet suburban life you don't want to hear about some nasty shit happening. Most didn't conceptualize the full scope or Civil Rights. Southerners kinda did but that actually also contributed since they were assmad with Eisenhower and Republicans in general integrating blacks into white communities while holding southern whites at a fucking gunpoint. So a lot just didn't vote.
LBJ won cause Kennedy assassination obviously but Nixon didn't win just because LBJ pushed Civil Rights, he also won because he pushed Civil Rights poorly which disappointed all the liberal boomers, as well as Vietnam. Frankly, LBJ winning because Kennedy got popped and Goldwater was portrayed as a lunatic who will nuke USSR is hilariously ironic cause Goldwater was by far the more liberal person between the two. He was pro-Civil Rights he just wanted to push them more gently and gradually. Most outrageously he ended up being almost current year tier pro-LGBT. In the fucking 80s. He was more pro-LGBT than Clinton. He hated Reagan and Bush and the GOP they built for being giga chuds by his standards. Anyway, rewinding here, Nixon was definitely the Silent Gen revenge for the 60s but he was the Drumpf for boomers so they took the first opportunity to take him out and Silent Gen were too classy to just let a corruption scandal slide, people actually had standards and honour back then anon.
>>
>>18716338
Nixon did nothing multiple Democrat administrations didn't also do, but he wasn't a Democrat so didn't have the media to shield him.

cont.
Ford was a RINO who looked like a dimwit football jock (I wonder if the NYC leather homos were into him tho) on the photos. It's not the clumsiness just the complete lack of any proper character. Carter was kind of a compromise where he just said liberal things that by that time weren't especially controversial but he was out of his depth obviously and failed to fix the economic turmoil US was in the 70s, while his liberal side was mostly for show. Reagan was boomers who finally got post-nut clarity over their debauchery in the 60s, got nostalgic over the 50s and decided that we're going to repent for all the shit we did and Make America Conservative again. Of course, as usual, they got the "fell for it [again] award" and elected a neoliberal demon in human form who Made America Spic Again and despite fags crying about him couldn't do jack shit about faggots basically controlling the entire 80s pop culture while dying of AIDS at the same time. The "Reagan and Bush did just fine" is utter ridiculousness on your part, complete historical revisionism. Reagan's conservatism was Coca Cola, McDonald's with a cross and softcore porn on ads everywhere. The remaining older fucks thought Reagan was on their side and were of course performatively seething about all of that shit, but Regan in reality was completely fine with all of it, his target audience were hypocritical boomers who wanted to have their cake and eat it too, he was the one who bastardized the concept of conservatism turning it into a self contradictory mess we have now. He was the GOP existential crisis, not Clinton. Dubya was Reagan 2.0. Drumpf is Reagan 3.0.
>>
Ford was actually quite popular and things had been turning around from the OPEC recession by 76. Carter's victory was a fluke that happened because the networks called the election early and potential Republican voters in the Eastern states stayed home. His popularity had been diminishing as the general election went on and people didn't like him the more they saw of him.

what's with the giant ChatGPT walls of text above? i ain't replying to those.

>Nixon's fakeness
>nigger mind
>mythology
Judging a president based on whether his """"authenticity"""" gives you the ick or not is literally the most nigger minded, or perhaps female minded, thing in the world
>>
>>18716360
mass amnesty is literally the exact opposite of what's going on right now, you have PTSD from your past failures and refuse to entertain the possibility things could change, because that would mean future generations won't end up rape victims like you.
>>

>>punishing Nixon for Watergate, taking a stupid scandal like that more seriously than actual policy
He broke the law then lied about it and used the power of his office to attempt a cover up of his illegal activities and lies. That is no mere "stupid scandal."

I support carter. Take the peanut pill

You're a fucking moron and add nothing of value to any thread I see you in. Unoriginal boring cunt with unoriginal boring comments centered around ignorance and jew. Dickhead.
>>
>>18717474
Nixon also committed many crimes and betrayals of his swing consensus coalition motivated mostly by his (and your) nigger philosophy. No matter how much you self-insert as him he still failed at all of his aims as a politician even beyond democracy. He sucked and cucked out to the Jews, and no matter what Republicoons think they're still the Jew and nigger lover party.
>>
>>18715780
Every U.S. president has supported Israel.
I don't see how this is any different.

The only presidents we've had since FDR who haven't been complete disasters are Truman, Eisenhower, and Nixon. Maybe JFK if you emphasize his handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis, his ability to frame the space race as a great national mission, and his attempt to restrain Israel. Maybe George H W Bush if you don't care about average Americans and just want a president who is competent at foreign policy and runs the country like it's a Paradox game.

He should have. Tricky dick would have been lynched

Wasn't East Timor an Australia thing? What is Carter's reputation in Australia?

JFK, LBJ. Next?

>Worst 20th century president and it’s not even close
FDR is much worse. Then it's LBJ. Carter ironically couldn't be the worst because his incompetence prevented him from doing more harm.

>Not Hoover, who worsened the Great Depression
>>
>>18720887
We were already getting out of the Great Depression was already when Hoover left and FDR got elected. Then the motherfucker decided we needed 10 more year of the Great Depression and the rest is history.

They both did. Hoover first because he ignored Andrew Mellon's advice to do nothing and let the economy self-correct like it did in every previous downturn.

Eisenhower's actions during Suez were a major mark against him. But that has more to do with Dulles' character judgement of Nasser than the big Ike
