I am interested in the genetics of southern arabia and horn of africa.

What exactly were the basal eurasians? What do we know about the millenia long bidirectional gene flow between the horn of africa and southern arabia? What kind of people moved into these places to create this unique looking race?

basal eurasians were western eurasians who never mixed with neanderthals, genetically closest to arabians

There are archeological findings that indicate that Africans from the Horn moved to Southern Arabia and lived there, mixing with the natives, but that's all I remember, I think it was from a Charleton Coon book
