Do you know why Jesus taught the things He taught, or do you think they are merely good moral teachings? I tell you that these are much more than just good moral teachings. Have you ever asked what it means to have faith in God? If you know, read the teachings of Jesus and realize that these teachings follow naturally if someone truly has faith in God.Why do you think He said, "Turn the other cheek," or, "Do not resist an evil person"? Do you not realize that these are proof that your faith is real? What need does someone have to protect their life or possessions or ego if they trust in God? The only reason this sounds crazy to you is because you do not believe. You want to say you do, as long as it doesn't affect the way you live. In this is proven that God is just a tool for you, and anyone who treats God just as a tool is thrown into the fire and burned. Therefore, acknowledge your guilt and turn. Know that you are already forgiven, and let His grace transform you.Do not think that your works will save you. Neither will your church or denomination save you. Not one ritual will ever save you, but the transformed heart will save you. The one who loves does not condemn, the one who is merciful forgives, the one who is just does not show partiality, and the one who truly believes will live accordingly. Many of you people think you are serving God, but He does not know you. How could He? The only time He has heard your voice is when you condemn others in His name, or you repeat the same prayer at the church for the thousandth time, or you say, "We need to bring back Christianity." Do you know that this is an abomination in His eyes? He never told you to litigate behavior through governments and laws, not once. Let the wicked litigate the wicked. You are responsible to God. Turn and be saved.
>>18719885There can be no peace on earth until every dark hell-spawned demon is either dead or back in hell where they belong. The light of God in Christ can never be destroyed.
>>18719893You're not white.
>>18719952pretending you don't see the light will not save you from hell
>>18719885I put my trust in God totally, I am a wretched sinner who deserves the fires of hell but I have been saved by the blood of Christ, which was spilled on the cross of Calvary for my sins.As I have got older, I have realised that by the grace of God I have been saved. But I am still looking for the true church to attend and become a member of.
Who ordered the christcuck thread? Did we get crank called again?
>>18720030>the true churchMeme.
>>18720030Friend, know I never meant it as though you going to church is wrong. As Jesus said, "You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former." The relationship and change come first, and only then do those other things have significance. Much love.
It all feels so pointless. I’ve spent my whole fuckin life waiting on god to give a single shit about me and he never did. He just feels so cold and far away. I’m tired boss
>>18719885What is it with you people that you always hold onto the inconsistent part and do not search for the consistent whole? Both of you might be right, yet you refuse to see the whole. It is not "faith vs. works"; instead, consider my words: true faith will produce the works naturally. Faith that has no works is not faith, and works without faith are empty. You do not do the works to prove that you believe; you will do the works if you do believe. God knows which one you are, and you, too, will know it if you refuse to deceive yourselves. The outward action doesn't change the inward being; the outward action flows from and reveals the inward being. Someone who does evil did not just happen to do evil; there is evil in them, and that is why they do evil, as it is said: "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."This is not to say that they cannot turn from their ways. In fact, this is what grace is for: so that when you find yourselves doing what is not right, you recognize and acknowledge it, bring it before God, and grow from it. It is precisely grace that allows growth to happen. Condemnation leads to stagnation; grace and love lead to transformation. This is what you are here for: to grow. This life is for becoming, but the life to come is for being. Therefore, make it your practice that you do not beat yourselves down whenever you fall, but that you get back up and learn from it. This is why it is said, "He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases."Know that you are already forgiven, and that I love you, even as God loves you. And do not listen to the Pharisees who condemn you to hell. Though they do many works, they will never grow, because their security is in their works, not in their love for what is good. Our law is God's nature revealed through Christ.
